Really think Plawecki has a big opportunity right now. As a catcher he is light years above Td'A defensively , and might not be as good offensively but atleast he can handle the bat. Also doesnt get injured. The more I see Travis struggle , the more I think its possible he might eventually be moved if the right deal came along. But that is up to Plawecki to prove.
Is it me, or does Travis look a little thinner this year? I'm not trying to imply he is on steroids, he just looks smaller.
I haven't noticed that, maybe just haven't looked , but he's always been on the slighter side IMO. I'm thinking batting him 8th hurt his confidence going into the year a little. Wright batting 2nd really screws this offense up. Get him out of that spot and there's so much flexibility.
I have been saying that for sometime now, look at the bright side, if they continue to struggle and falter, Terry will be fired. I think he is a bad manager, and I can't wait to see him gone. I have said it before, this team will underachieve with him as manager. I knew the moment Wright came back last year, Terry would have a difficult time placing him in the lineup. To this day he can't figure out what to do with him, if the Yankees can drop Arod to the 6th spot, the Mets should have no problems doing something similar.
