Are you arguing with yourself now? The only people to consider marijuana a PED are the Executive Board of Pringles.
And the NFL... see Josh Gordon. You can probably find him behind the counter at a McDonald's in Cleveland. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
Weed is part of the NFL substance abuse program. You are not competent enough to carry on a simple debate.
It's the same ban as a ped. There is in fact no real difference. The can call it someone else but it is in the exact same rules and ban. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
The bans come from two entirely separate drug programs. With entirely separate testing criteria. And entirely different effects on the human body. But I know that difference will be lost on you, because you apparently don't even know how to identify the difference between words like "the" and "they", or "someone" and "something". Just know that it kind of hurts your blatantly retarded and biased argument all the same.
Your momma did crack when she was pregnant didn't she? You were making claims that Mo was helped out by having Sheldon and Williams on the line with him. I pointed out that he got 3.5 sacks in the first 4 games when he did not have Richardson on the line with him. Your inability to put 2 and 2 together here is very telling. Who the fuck said anything about PEDs? Where the fuck do you come up with this shit? Put down the pipe.
Chewing on those paint chips as a toddler really did a number on you. In 20 posts you have surged past Geno007 and Jethuskers on the stupidity level. Congrats.
Williams was highly touted coming out of college and was in the discussion for roy. You don't think he's special-you are in the minority. The "6" games for Mo is based on how many games we would need him as a starter if -and it's a big if- Richardson is suspended (a high estimate being 6 games). It goes to the point that the position is covered by two very capable players and Mo is desposable. Re: Players cost. My bad. Read your post wrong.
When it comes to banned substances they do not necessarily have to be performance enhancing. If they are 'against the spirit of sport' and have potential health risks they can also be on the banned list.
If Mo wants a fresh start and says SF is where he'd like to play, there's no reason for SF to offer anything in a trade. They could wait a year and sign him without losing any picks, other than the comp.
First of all, we could still tag Mo again. And second, Mo supposedly said he'd like to play in SF, not that he'd like to play in SF and only in SF. In other words, if he were to hit the open market, he wouldn't necessarily choose SF. He just wouldn't rule them out.
Why would the Jets trade Wilk to move up to draft a franchise QB when there is nothing close to a sure bet at QB in this draft anyway?
As Schefter and Jason Cole reported yesterday us as possible trade partners for CLE's 1/2 pick, let's see what we should give up to move up from 20 to 2 (assuming MO is the part of deal and assigning top25 pick value to him): Using PFT's value chart: 1/2=2.6 1/20=0.85 1/25 (MO)=0.72 So far, 1.57 and missing 1.03, which means we have to give up 2017/1 too.
That's not worth it. Both these QB's would be late 1st rounders in any other draft. I live near Louisville so this may seem bias, but I would most definitely rather have Bridgewater and he was a late first round pick for a reason. These are not Luck profile picks.
I agree, but right now all the veteran QBs who are available are pretty sawful. In years past, the level of veteran FA QBs must have either been better, or teams are becoming more desperate for a QB and are more willing to risk a lot on a QB prospect.
The way to trade Mo in this draft is to find a team with a lot of cap space that is likely to draft the BPA on the DL at their pick due to a weakness in that area in their current front. It's a deep draft with lots of DL prospects, but they are only prospects. Mo is a proven player at the 5 and the 3 and can play all over the defensive interior. So you find that team (looking at the 49ers here) and you set Mo and his agent on a path towards them so that a deal is already clear once the trade is made. Then you wait for that team's pick and when the pick before them is on the clock you go at them hard. Would they really rather have a prospect, good, great, whatever, or would they like to have Mo Wilkerson at that pick? If the team has the cap space and they're looking at a DL anyway there's no way Mo is not a better pick for them. His bust potential is zero. He's been All Pro alternate. He's 26 years old. They'll have a strong player out of him for the same period of time they might get a strong player out of the pick. Yes, they could get him for no direct pick compensation if they wait a year, but they'll be competing with others in the open market place. Also, the Jets could choose to franchise Mo again. He might be 28 before they get their hands on him. He has to be a better pick up for them than a rookie in the same slot *if* they have no cap issues and aren't likely to for a year or two.
Just turned on ESPN NFL Live to catch the tail end of a story that reads "Jets potential interest in No. 2 pick" with a clip of Mo in the background. Anyone know what's that about?
Jets don't have a chance to move up IMO unless they give up that 2017 first rounder and under NO circumstance should that happen. Mo will play w/ the Jets again this season and will either walk or be resigned.
