It's crazy thinking that he took 50 shots to drop 6o on 44% shooting.

This is off the topic of Kobe but more about the points. As of right now, the only person I can see who can drop 70 or more is Steph. I wonder how close he can get to 100 if he has one of those electric shooting nights.

Almost made me forget that it capped off the worst season in Lakers franchise history.

Lol... Really? So a woman says he rape her but doesn't want to testify. She had no problems going to testify in a civil suite. No that doesn't sound funny at all.

All I can say is thank god Kobe watch is over. Dude is an egomaniac and only announced his retirement before the season for hype reasons. Nobody else does that shit aside from attention whores. I'm just tired of hearing every other night on the radio, "OMG This is Kobe's last game in San Antonio, or Houston, or NY, or every other city" Nobody cares.

a lot of people brought it up because they hate Kobe and the attention he was getting.

Pretty obvious that wasn't rape anyway.

    Jeter did the same thing.

Jeter was a prima donna bitch for doing it and so is Kobe.

I respect both of them, but it doesn't change that. They both hurt their teams so they could go on historic full-season ego trips.

yeah but I was so happy to see at least that Kobe spared us from crying like a bitch like many would've in their postgame stuff.

This is probably Tim Duncan's last season. We'll hear about it from his agent and teammates via second hand texts.

I'd bet that's the truth about probably 40% of the false athlete sexual assault charges. The other 60% are looking for money.

    I've researched this thoroughly.

Not saying all of them are false though, Darren Sharper needs to die by Bubbadick.

Imagine Curry shooting threes in 95-96 with a shorter three point line against an archaic defensive scheme? To say they'd get run off the court is crazy IMO. They're the greatest reguar season team in NBA history, and possibly 16 wins away from being the greatest team the league has ever seen. The Warriors have three excellent defenders in DG, Klay hompson, and Iggy and a bench with a very good PG in Shaun Livingston whose game would have fit in well duing the 90s era of basketball. Factor in their spacing and shooting, and the Bulls would have problems defendng that group. The Bullls win under their rules, but the Warriors beat them handily under 2016 rules assuming no change to their defensive or offensive scheme is made.

Imagine Curry shooting 3s in 95-96 when only Jordan was getting the Jordan rules. Now every max contract player outside of Kawhi Leonard gets them.

I get your point that's why I wanted to bring up the debate. Rodman would seemingly destroy them on the boards which is an underrated factor in the matchup.

You're also removing handchecking for the Bulls vs. Curry and Thompson... imagine if you couldn't handcheck Jordan and Pippen? How do the Warriors matchup defensively with the Bulls just thinking about the big 3?

    Barnes/Iggy vs. Pippen
    Thompson vs. Jordan
    Green vs. Rodman/Kukoc

No matter who is guarding Rodman btw whom obviously isn't a very good scorer and waste of a defender is going to get destroyed on the boards. So even if you want to concede him defensively he's going to feast on the offensive boards.

It's fun to think about. I also wonder how Curry would fair getting hit hard in the lane.

Handchecking is removed, but defenses are allowed to overload the strong side; the defensive schemes are more complex in this era. I don't think the scoring of either two(MJ or Piipen) would increase significantly. I doubt DG would just get pushed over in a series; Rodman's obivously one of the greatest rebounders of all time, but Green is guarding guys that have 35 plus pounds on him effectively. It is an interesting discussion. ..the fact that a team has even put themselves in the disccusion with the '96 Bulls as being he greatest ever is truly amazing

The Warriors are the best team in history but that's simply based on how they dominated their season and not comparative against the Bulls.

History might prove this wrong in the long run, but any comparison of Pippen and Jordan vs Curry and Thompson is a mismatch in the Bulls favor. And Rodmam dominates whether you line him up against either forward you want to shut down. The centers are a wash. At best the Warriors only advantage is whoever Ron Harper checks. Where exactly does the Warriors win this match up?

But the Rodman/Green matchup isn't about shutting Rodman down offensively..it's about how Rodman would destroy Green on the boards, and Green's stellar defensive play basically becomes useless because Rodman isn't a scoring threat
