Watching the Rams presser, they are super excited about the opportunity to draft their number 1 overall bust.

This was a great trade. Great for the league!

I can't believe that the Rams did it.. They did the RG3 trade in vise versa. They are gonna pay for trolling the Skins that time when they sent the 6 players they got for RG3 to the coin toss.

I think it's gotta be Goff.. If it's Wentz they are putting their football careers on the line with a division 2 player... Wentz has all the tools and character to succeed but imo he is boom or bust if forced to play right away. Goff also has all the tools but what I really love about this kid is his quick release and throwing with anticipation. They gotta take the home town team or suffer the fate San Fran did when they passed on Rodgers.

This is rolling the dice and reeks of desperation but u gotta give Snead and Fisher for one thing.. They recognize if they didn't do anything they were probably sitting ducks anyways with 5 losing seasons...

They bought themselves 2 years for sure. I think they knew this. If they fail the new staff will at least have all their picks and move forward in a new stadium.

The irony of all this is that Rams used their windfall from passing on what many thought was a franchise QB to dramatically improve their team but needed a QB to a contender. Now they are giving another a huge windfall to go grab their franchise QB. The lesson is here is that you have to tank for 2 consecutive years. The first year is to grab your QB and the second year to trade the pick to a desperate QB needy team.

They are one of the worst run teams in the league. It could be franchise changing but it won't. Same for the Rams.

At first I thought it would be for sure Goff but I read an article that made me think it could be Wentz. The short of it is the Rams offense is a disaster, it's very outdated and simplistic offense. Jeff Fishers way of doing things has not been good in over ten years. Aside the terrible o line and nobody to catch the ball, Foles was a bad fit cuz he likes to stretch the field deep. Goff ran a more complex offense in college, he'd be miserable on the Rams. Wentz tho had a similar game in college, he might be a better fit for a dink and dunk style.

Imo it will be Goff. California kid who also played college in Cali. At the end of the day the NFL is a business and a guy like that will help you fill the stadium quicker.

I read something similar, Wentz is the under center QB who complements the running game and he excels at play action pass with a cannon for an arm.

The Rams have the running game, the defense, they have the QB if it's Wentz, now they need to fix the OLine.

Goff has excellent footwork, Peyton manning like, great accuracy but lacks a cannon for an arm.

If the jets were in that position and they were going to grab a QB, I would take Wentz.
