Oh please. Not only did he fail, but they found that he took a drink to try to dilute the THC. Double Whammy. This guy has a serious problem, plus he's dumb as fuck. I'm not one to judge over smoking weed, but last time he failed he claimed 2nd hand smoke, which is bogus. This time he clearly didn't do his research in cleansing his system. I don't care if you're the biggest pot head in the world. It's retarded to give up making $10 million plus per year just to get high. Isn't the next step after year suspension, getting banned for life?
Not sure but did see this. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...don-to-go-2-3-months-without-a-red-flag-test/
So they are giving him one final chance. What's the over/under on how long before he fails another one?
Dudes a dope and deserves whatever he gets... But how about the league once again leaking something they are not supposed to, just to get public support for something they have every right to do. You can bet the NFLPA is going to take this issue up.
I like to see him pass. Then the Jets get him. Wherever he signs he's not going to get guaranteed money so I'd like to see the Jets get him.
yeah, I wouldnt trust either of them with sharp objects. The 2 of them together? you are right - dangerous
while he is an idiot, the rule is idiotic as well. the almighty ruler goodell and all of his douchebag owners should be tested for recreational drugs too. its just another way to hold their thumbs on their employees. its idiotic and shouldnt be allowed. a guy smoking some weed has nothing to do with anything he does on the field.
my job tests pre hire and if you get into any kind of accident, be it vehicle or on the job personal injury. they used to have to submit to the state that the job title was considered a danger to the person or the general public. now they just test away, they use the old swab tests. i havent done drugs in 20 years but always hated the idea of them controlling what i did outside of work. everyone is so fucking concerned with what the next guy is doing and making sure he gets punished for dumb shit, like it really makes people feel better to be able to shit on other people for dumb stuff.
I'm no stoner (but if it was around in the college days.....) and think it should be legal for multiple reasons, but DAMN you gotta be stupid (or have a SERIOUS problem) if you can't abstain if there's a multi million job at stake. If someone told me I could make millions but couldn't drink beer, I'd find a way to pretend O'Douls was enjoyable......
While I agree with the broader point. They've literally changed the rules to give this dipshit numerous chances. All he has to do is not be a fucking moron... temporarily. Its hard to feel sorry for him because of that
NFL is giving him so many chances to appease the NFLPA. I can't imagine that if he fails one more time they'll give him another chance. He'll probably be done.
