Fair enough, but from what I have seen, he cannot sustain more than 5 innings without the lineup figuring him out. I don't know why he cannot make the adjustments, maybe it can be attributed to lack of experience.
I also think since he came back at the end of the season after the lat pull, he has been on some seriously limited pitch counts. He has been pulled from some games where it definitely looks like he could have went longer. I thought I heard TC last night say 70 pitches before the game. Let's hope last night was an aberration.
Like I said, very reminiscent of how bad they looked in July last year just before the trade deadline.
They suck, lets face it. They come out scoring 1 run a game. Can't play small ball, just want the pitching to take care of everything. This team is lost.
David Wright fucking up the game again. bases loaded.. the stadium was rocking. blow the doors open and put them away early. Thor was untouchable. That could have been a serious momentum swing for this team.

Thing is they aren't batting Eric Campbell third and John Mayberry fourth now. This team shouldn't be this bad offensively.
Exactly. Its just that every single player in the lineup is either going through a cold streak or not hitting as well as they usually do. Only a matter of time before atleast a couple of the guys break out of that.

I'm "watching" by computer, so I didn't see or hear what happened in the top of the inning. Did Henderson hurt his shoulder or something? I've seen second guessing of Collins for bringing him in/keeping him in on the interwebz (tied to a short bullpen because DeGrom was not put on the DL), but before I think he messed up (something I am more than willing to believe, since he is a lousy manager) I wanted to know if something actually happened.
