There is no way in hell Cruz will beat Hillary in the general. Quiet as it kept, Cruz is farther right than Trump ever was. Thanks to Trump and Cruz for waking up the Latino Juggernaut. Now they have some skin in the game and its showing in massive voter registration in states with very large Latino populations. Its a shame the GOP ran all of its moderates out of the party. This would have been the best chance to regain the WH. Too bad Idealogues hijacked the GOP. Now they're so far to the right that there's no one left in the middle which is where most sane Americans are politically.
As long as trump doesn't go third party, I give him a 50-50 shot. Trump has about as much of a chance of winning as the jets do winning the super bowl next season. Cruz would do no worse than Romney did. And the Dems have moved far to the left as well. So don't forget that. You guys have a fucking socialist with a decent chance.
And Cruz wouldn't be as bad as people think. Domestically I think he'd be similar to HW Bush and with FP I think he won't be like Dubya where I was into nation building with Iraq. He's be more rand Paul like on the foreign policy front.
Cruz has absolutely no chance of winning the general election. Kasich would probably stand the best chance, but too many butt hurt Trump and Cruz supporters would sit this one out if they gave him the nomination. I disagree with Nebraska's map as the ceiling for Trump, I don't think he can win but it would be a lot closer than that- Trump would probably win both North and South Carolina and possibly straight down through Florida.
Trump running would be the death of the GOP. Kasich is their only hope. Cruz is also a shit tier option. It just amazes me how far right both of our parties are on a world scale. The Republicans would be far right. The Democrats would still be right. And Sanders would probably be a centrist.
Trump will probably take at least 200 delegates in the next 6 states, all states in his wheelhouse, NY, Conn, Del., Maryland, Penn. R.I.. He is also leading in Cali which is winner take all for 172 delegates. It may still go to a brokered convention, don't see Cruz coming close to taking it.
That may be true to an extent, but I have a feeling the folks in Flint, MI wouldn't mind giving something different a shot. The folks in NOLA could have used some of that Dike Technology the Hollanders seem to have perfected before Katrina hit too. Don't sell the Europeans short. I wish we had something remotely as advanced as their rail system so that things like those Amtrak accidents would be a thing of the past.
We're all free to leave and join the rest of the world at any time if we believe it's so great elsewhere. The rest of the world is pretty big - you have many options. Stop being so oppressed. Open your wings and fly my childrens. I hear sweden is beautiful.
