That is such a silly statement.

Brick missed 1 snap in 10 years. Clady hasnt played in....um when?

Totally believe that might still be in the cards. Mo trade is a matter of getting the right partner to go for it which is proving tougher than nails. The Jets pretty much want to move him and get best value since he is pricing himself out of our market. Depending on the trade Mac is going with BPA and if a LT is BPA he will pull the trigger, if not then he will go with BPA in another position.

I find it slightly ironic that some consider Grady a big injury risk but they expect a huge trade value for a guy albeit very talented is non the less recovering from a broken leg.,

Yeah thats cool. So you're basing your opinion on him being healthy for an entire year.

How much would you bet that he plays 16 games next season? I'll take that bet at any odds you name.

I know I was just wondering if he knew.

In NFL years , 2014 is a lifetime ago...2014 we all though that Geno Smith could be a franchise QB.

It seems like Macc is still following your plan. Even after signing Clady, he still probably wants to trade Mo for a first rounder, which he still may use on an OT. So I'm not sure what the problem is here.

This could be a good move if he stays healthy ,What good is it if he is protecting Geno?I really thought after Brick retired the Fitz situation would work itself out.

Maybe at the start of 2014, but not by the end, when Clady was still healthy. Unless you're Geno007, in which case you still think Geno can be a franchise QB. :)

The Jets have traded for Ryan Clady. They sent their 5th round pick to the Broncos for Clady and the Broncos 7th round pick.

The Jets signed Clady to a new contract. According to Ian Rappaport at RapSheet, the Clady contract is a one-year deal with a $6 million base, but only $3 million of that is guaranteed. There are incentives that would escalate the value to $7.5 million. He says the team has a one-year option on Clady for $10 million, escalating to $13 million with incentives.

    Thoughts?

A 5th round pick isn't exactly "precious".And we got an extra 7th in return which is basically a 5th round pick anyway. The talent between rounds 5-7 is basically the same on paper anyway. It could be good

He just passed a team physical, so he is as healthy as any player in the league right now. 2003 posts per year for two years...that is some tremendous production of meaningless drivel from you. Keep up the great work!

Yeah I def still expect him to shop Mo. Which was my mindset from the beginning. I dont think Brick retiring should change that , because everything Ive heard has this team much higher on Sheldon than Mo at this stage. And they drafting Leonard as an eventual Mo replacement.

Im not sure we could get any type 1st for him , no one really knows at this point. But it def doesnt hurt for Mac to keep shopping him.

If he gets a 1st rounder for him , no matter where in the 1st round it is , it would be an amazing move.

Even with the added cap space from today's events, I truly believe this regime has no intent to sign him long term , so getting something for him while his value is something will be important.

He's only 29 and he's a 4x Pro Bowler if he stays healthy its a major steal.

Well yeah thats the only reason a trade went through..guess the term "injury prone" never entered your mind though

Do you really think a class organization like the Broncos would give away a stud olineman for a 5th rounder if they thought he could get back to healthy?

This isnt the Bears trading Marshall genius.
