I read up until the part where you started getting owned for being a Manish Mehtard nutsack licker. I'm not a homer. I'm just not a reactionary little bitch. Now go starve somewhere while you dream about potatoes.
If you saw my reply to that poster you would've seen that I said Im not counting on Clady to be healthy. So it is a shit move as it stands , with the possibility of being a steal. Same type of deal that a lot of posters looked at the Marshall trade last season. Do you want to tell me why YOU think this trade is good for the Jets or are you just more focused on trying to prove me "wrong" on an opinion?
Thanks. And you definitely have a stick up your ass. Don't pull it out too fast, don't wanna make a mess.
Not really I just dont take much of an offense from a poster like you, who you rather tell someone to shut the fuck up instead of debating an opinion. See ya Week 1...I'll look for the "fuck this team" after the first TD allowed.
Yes, true. I prefer not to engage pissy bitches in debate, just gotta let em ride it out. Good luck with your period!
Agreed. Thats why I have zero respect for posters like that. Anytime its heat of the moment opinions I tune out. Love us in the offseason hate us during the season , 74 isnt the first , he wont be the last.
4yrs younger and a few million cheaper then Brick and one of the top LT in the league when healthy, I'm pretty happy about this. Not to mention we may get our QB signed as part of the deal. How can anyone complain about this
not a bad deal. pretty much the best we could hope for considering the circumstances, its not like mac could just go to lt.com and have one shipped to us. and he definitely couldn't wait to see how the draft unfolded.
Will never be upset when my favorite team acquires an offensive lineman. Especially when the offensive lineman has made pro bowls. I'm good with the move needless to say
Not a bad plan, but in your scenario, after re-signing Fitz, we would end up with about 15M. Even after trading for Clady (who costs 6M), why not trade Mo like you said, get the first rounder, and still use it on Stanley or Conklin, or even somebody else if he falls to us? This is of course assuming we get the first rounder, which we may not.
It's all an assumption but it's something I would've held out for if I was Mac. Teams might be desperate as we get closer to the draft. If it bit me in the ass then so be it, atleast I know I went through with my plan
im happy with this situation. you cant predict future injuries in football and they now have a little bit younger, little bit better lt than they had a few weeks ago. with the possibility of having a much better lt. its really a win win and it puts the jets in the position again to pick bpa when they go into the draft which is BEYOND important.
we just acquired a 4 time pro bowler ( Brick was 3) and a 2 time all pro ( Brick was ZERO!). For a swap of late picks and a team friendly deal of $6mm with only 3 guaranteed, and he is 3 years younger. Yes there is an injury risk, but there is with every player in the NFL, except Brick and Manning ( that douche)! Brick retired, get it??? We did not swap these players, and now we just signed a tremendously talented NFL LT this late in free agency. HOME FUCKING RUN! Now we can still draft based upon needs ( of which Tackle still is one) Damn Jets fans are freaking retarded...
