From PFT: Brandon Marshall found not liable for assault in civil suit Posted by Josh Alper on April 8, 2016, 2:08 PM EDT Getty Images Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall spent this week in a New York City courtroom for a civil trial related to a 2012 altercation outside a nightclub. Marshall was being sued by a woman who alleged that the wideout hit her in the face and was seeking at least $75,000 in damages. Marshall was never arrested or charged with a crime as a result of the incident and testified on Thursday that he did not hit Christin Myles. The jury in the case sided with Marshall, who was found not liable Friday for any injuries Myles may have sustained. Dom Cosentino of NJ.com reports that one juror said after the case that video evidence used during the case was insufficient to prove Marshall caused any injuryand that the jury would not have awarded any financial damages if Marshall had been found liable.

I think this threads shows how a lot of Jets fans are only interested in negative shit. If BM wasn't cleared this thread would be like 30+ pages and counting.
If he was found guilty then you're likely right regarding the amount of posts in this thread. He's one of our best players, and without him week 1, irregardless of the players around him, were fucked.
It was a civil suit. The NFL might have done something if the jury found for the plaintiff but there were no charges involved.
