Like Stefon Diggs last year, I want to put on record my sleeper WR for this year's draft. Like Diggs, Marquez North from the University of Tennessee is a first round talent that can be had late because of low production from injuries and inconsistent QB play. Unlike Diggs, North is has prototypical size/speed at 6'2" 223 lbs running a 4.42 with massive hands and is a total stud when healthy. Had a breakout freshman season in the SEC before it went all downhill. Most draft sites have him as an undrafted FA, which is comical. I know the Cowboys gave him a private workout already so they have him in their radar. Mac geturdone on Day 3!

I like that you're going out on a limb but this kid won't be drafted at all. He's about a poor mans Diggs. North played in 4 less games in his career yet he had 1/2 the amount of catches, 1/3 the yards, and 1/6th the TD's as Diggs did. He is a homeless man's Diggs @legler82

The comparison was they are both 1st round talents that would be available on Day 3 or later. Physically, slyle-wise and as you pointed out their production are completely different. I thought he would go un-drafted but after the Combine, his Pro-day and the fact that he's has a visit with a team or two, I think someone will scoop him up late. I would.

He killed South Carolina in that video above....He was really good that season but I'm not sure what happened since then (Basically is it stuff in the past?)

He's got the talent if whatever was wrong isn't a lingering issue so I don't see why not as a gamble late

Injuries happened. He said he's finally healthy. That's why he did a full workout, 40 and all, both at the Combine and again at his Pro-day to show teams he is 100%. Aside from that, he seems like a good kid, had no off the field stuff.

He looks talented and worthy of a late pick, and someone I wish they could give a shot, but I'm not sure if the Jets could afford to use a pick on him. I think he may be a luxury pick for a team that's already stacked. They may wind up having to use their 7th round pick on a PR or Punter.

If you are referring to size and speed for being a first round talent maybe I agree. But his play on the field is nothing close to a first round talent. Just cause he is 6'4 4.4 doesn't make him a first round talent. If there was a prospect that had the production plus that size then absolutely.

Also too being fully healthy in shorts is a hell of a lot easier than being healthy in pads for 12 plus games. I don't think teams are going to put too much stock into him zooming around in shorts and a cut off tee.

Diggs was the man. I had mocked to us in my draft simply because of how awesome he was in college yet nobody talked about him. Never heard of this guy.
