Unless hes here for cheap with no commitment to being on the field for salary reasons, im not interested. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
If true, this means Mac is confident he can trade Mo. This would mean he has more than one team interested, so it's a bidding war. If Carton is right, Mac will be getting at least 2nd for Mo, probably more.
If the Jets and Fitz had a deal in place, Marshall would not be asking Bowles about the QB position. He would already know via Fitz. Haha. As for Mo: with the Jets having the least Cap space in the NFL, clearly something has to happen. Shame.
Not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet but apparently the Broncos are offering 7 mil per for two years.I'm sure he's going to turn that down but now we know where the market is right now. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-to-pay-kaepernick-14-million-over-two-years/
This is the narrative among emotional fans and media. Luckily our GM is playing hardball and understands that Fitz is not worth 10 million + a year.
I can't remember whether I read this in this thread or my brother told me. Apparently our favorite radio personality, Mike Francesa, said the other day "Mike Maccagnan and Ryan Fitzpatrick are playing poker, and they've both got a pair of threes." About sums it up.
Really. I'd hate to think that anyone in the organization would tell that clown anything. In the current administration anyway.
That could be true and would explain why everyone is quiet, but I have a question about this and I am hoping someone more knowledgeable can enlighten me.... but- on April 7th, 2016 doesn't it not even matter if the Jets are over the cap at this point? I could be wrong but isn't there some sort of deadline but not now? Why couldn't the Jets just sign Fitzpatrick, be over the cap and work on getting under it later? Why would you need to free up cap space and risk losing your QB in the meantime?
Getting close to that now! @Big Cat made this post on Page 81. Could be on the money. Haha. I hope not.
