I love how tying Geno being an idiot to Bowles and Mac being the same since they decided to have him be the starter last year is suppose to be some kind of counter point as though our new HC and GM are incapable of making bad decisions. Seriously, I can't wait for this honeymoon phase to over so we can go back to having more substantive discussions about this team's direction which can include both objective criticism and praise of our CS and FO.
If you think Geno is the wrong choice to start for obvious reasons and Bowles/Mac disagree with you, either you or Bowles/Mac is making a bad decision. Suffice to say Mac and Bowles crowned Geno starter last year and probably will do the same this year, so that's 2 bad decisions in a row according to you. Moreover they even went so far as to bring in Gailey specifically for Geno, (not Fitz). Is that a 3rd? We'll see if Bowles/Mac know what they're doing in 2016 (and if you and JStokes know what you're talking about).
If Geno is starting because Mac didn't cave to Fitzs ridiculous demands - that is an off-season win. The QB market was shit and you can't make chicken soup out of chicken shit!

Why not root for him to improve enough to become the starter? Wouldn't that be easier and faster than constantly drafting and failing over and over?
I'd like to see Geno improve, but after the past three years, I would not go into the season with him atop the depth chart.

If the threads are going to be start hyping a one trick pony of a qb with poor mental focus on and off the field and extolling his virtues then you need to be prepared for the counter points. One thing that no one has been able to say or prove is why he should start. It is always he could or I have a feeling. Well then maybe these threads should stop and the geno fans should start calling Ms Cleo for advice because I have posted stats and no answer I have given counter points and no valid answer. 45 turn overs in less then 3 seasons (32 games) versus 27 tds. 1st round draft picks have been cut for better performances. Show the world with proof why he should start without comparing him to P Manning (yes geno007 did that). Show us wise he should start.
