I agree. A good politician wouldn't owe a guy money, taunt him about it, and stick his finger in that guy's face, especially if that guy already had a reputation for punching people. He just wouldn't be that stupid.
Holy shit you need to push back. You don't understand the word "truth" if you don't know why he was cut. GTFO Genobot. _
The dude couldn't tell what time it was in a different time zone. He's a fucking moron. In the position that requires the MOST intelligence in any position in all of organized sports. Yeah, let's build around and prop up an idiot. Geno007 might be smarterer. _
I don't disagree with you. All the above are stupid things and smart politicians don't do them. But football isn't really politics and winning cures all in football. I like to judge young QBs--whether it be Geno, Glennon, Petty, etc--on their field work, not on who has the nicer jib and who listens to what music. Well since he's still on the team and in pole position to start in spite of damaging off-the-field issues, I think it reflects well on Geno. If Manziel had performed like a first round pick on the field he would have never been cut. He would be given the same coddling treatment he was given at College Station. If you believe otherwise I have a bridge to sell you, Fitzdroid. I see 40+ years on this Earth has not made you any smarter than a 4 year old.
who tells you he is in position to start? Is there ANYTHING, anywhere that gives a hint that Geno is higher on FO's list than Petty? The only reason Geno is even in the conversation is because the only other QB currently on the roster is a 2nd year rookie who never played a single snap in NFL game. Can you take off your fucking blinds for a second and look at this? LOOK at it!!! YOUR HERO IS NOT A CLEAR STARTER OVER A ROOKIE!!! can you wrap your mind around this?
Oh yeah, wanted to mention re topic of this genoworshiping thread... Colon, really?? The great QB evaluator. Can you people find a thinner straw to grab?
Weren't there excuses when Fitzpatrick played poorly against Philly when Decker and Ivory missed that game? So the precedent has been, it has to be both ways it can't be one way depending on certain people.
Why are you typing in caps? We have had chances to get a starting QB and we haven't, hence right now Geno is probably going to start. If Mac was going to get a different starting QB he would have already done so, like every other team in our position already has.
I didn't give a single excuse. I repeat if Fitzpatrick got a pass because Decker was hurt then if one of our top receivers get hurt then he gets the same benefit. It has to go both ways.
You could yell your points till your blue in the face, that wouldn't change a thing. Every other team in our position already has their QB --- and so do we, you just haven't realized it yet. You will.
I know, you're just building them for future use. Almost like you know that with Geno you'll need an excuse.
Well there's always a chance I'm wrong; this is speculation afterall. Occam's Razor says I'm probably right and you're probably not, though.
Promises, promises. You people been screaming this for the last 3 years. YOU'LL SEE!!! YOU WILL ALL SEE Tebots before you...
Actually I spoke to Occam and his Razor says it's more likely that you're a blinded Geno worshiper than Geno is a steady starter.
You're actually right in that case, as I have added ad hoc explanations to Geno's failures. Be that as it may, my contention was that Geno will start for us in 2016, not that he will become a steady starter thereafter. Be aware too that Occam's Razor is not always correct and becomes less likely to be true the more real alternative explanations one can legitimately dredge up.
