Why not argue that RT is full of shit because Uwe Boll's Postal only has 8% but you are the one person who thinks it's the greatest movie ever made.

I don't give a damn that you don't like Inside Out but you'd clearly be the exception and its RT rating doesn't indicate a flaw in their system simply because you didn't like it anymore than if you loved Postal. Did this really need to be explained? Or did I miss your sarcasm?

I liked Kilmer more than Clooney, because they tried to make Batman a freaking sex object with that costume like wtf? Nipples on the batman suit? I thought he was the worst batman ever hands down. You also know when he played Bruce Wayne, Clooney was just acting like himself lol.

Saw the movie last night, Affleck did a good job I was surprised. Wonder Woman killed it though, she was the best character in the entire movie despite not being on screen as long. I'd give the movie a C+ because of the pacing, I heard Snyder wanted the movie to be 3 hours but WB cut it down.

Here's a deleted scene guys btw:

    SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should've kept that scene in the movie. Birth of Cyborg? Or a call to Brainiac?

Rotten Tomatoes is definitely more right than wrong from my experience. What does it take for a writer to call something Fresh? 6 out of 10? 7? So even if a movie has 95% fresh, doesn't mean it is an A+ movie. Just means people agree it's watchable instead of not.

Let's take one of my favorite movies as an example:

    THE DARK KNIGHT:
94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Average rating of 8.6. out of 10. 295 Critics called it Fresh. 19 (morons) called it Rotten. Haha. Audience score of 94%.

BATMAN V. SUPERMAN DAWN OF JUSTICE:
29% on Rotten Tomatoes. Average rating of 5 out of 10. 78 Critics called it Fresh. 191 called it Rotten. Audience score of 73%.

All of that data sounds exactly right to me. Makes sense. The debate in this thread, However, is that this data should not effect how you personally feel about a film. I agree with that too. Neither of those 2 movies were a score of 0. Meaning someone out there is going to like BvS, just like someone out there is going to hate TDK. All about your own personal taste. Still, the data is mostly accurate in a general sense.

A movie like this always score much higher with the audience than a critic. Critics have their own tastes and bias just like others do. In their eyes all films basically need to meet a checklist, or if they dont like a particular director, than they poo poo on them. Michael Bay is a good example. Is he the best director? Of course not, but he makes entertaining films. Besides i think everyone old enough remembers the last time a serious transformers movie was made. Kids wouldnt leave their house for days. Tho its no Watership downs.

Anyway Snyder falls into that category of directors. I wasnt expecting the revenant, i was expecting a comic book movie. So maybe thats why i see it differently.

This is going to be an interesting film to track. The weekend numbers were reduced to $166 million from $171, and it had the biggest Friday to Sunday decline of any comic book movie in history - 55%, which doesn't really mean much if your Friday haul is so massive because of immediate demand and your Saturdayband Sunday business was simply normal. there really was no place to go but down in that case. Then it had a strong Monday box office.

I suspect we may only see a 60% decline in week two which would be a massive success.

Like I said before: It is going to make money. It's Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman on the big screen. Most people I talk to don't care about the bad reviews. They just want to see these characters on the big screen. Heck, that is why I saw it too.

There's no doubt this movie was always going to make money, which is why it's so interesting to follow as its one if the worse reviewed comic movies of all times, even by comic fanboys like Kevin Smith and Scott Mendelsohn of Forbes, so the reviews aren't just from critics who don't get the movie or the genre as ardent fanboys want to dismiss them as. Even the audience score is low for comic movies.

And yet despite terrible word of mouth the allure is so great that people want to see it. I think the awful reviews are helping it. If it just got middling reviews people who were on the fence may skip it out if indifference. But the awful reviews could be spurring those people on to see it if it is really that bad.

Record 80% Friday decline; initial forecast was a standard 60% weekend drop but expectations are a week to week drop of 70%, which is huge. I think it declined nearly 70% in China as well. With all major international markets already opened it could struggle to reach even $900 million in worldwide box office which would be an absolute disaster for a Batman movie.

Saw BvS yesterday. Great CGI, lots of wanton death and destruction. Showed the other side of Superhero combat in urban areas. Showed the darker side of Bats and Sups too. IMO, the plot could have taken more time to develop WonderWoman but I guess that will be addressed in the follow on movie. The quick glances at Aquaman and The Flash as creations of Lexcorp could have simply been skipped although being a Jason Momoa fan it was interesting to see Conan the Barbarian underwater.
