I doubt this would even be released if it was a possible STD. Cant tell me he's the first athlete thats caught the clap and Im sure reporters know thats the case when that happens so there's no reason for them to report anything.

Makes me think it could be something a little more serious but fingers crossed with that.

Harvey had blood clots in his bladder.

    Passed them.

All things considered, it could've been worse.

Yes, that was my reaction too - why do you need to retrain yourself to pee more often and not overload your bladder? Did his family go on lots of long car rides when he was a kid, where his parents yelled at him "We just stopped! Hold it in!"? There could be some subtle child abuse at play here ... ;)

I don't have much hate for Harvey. I think most Met fans consider him a little "too Hollywood" and outside people have crowned him before winning anything.

Also most Mets fans have accepted the fact that he's not going to be here long term in all likelihood. Which is cool with me if the other pitchers stay.

Might not be very fun being a Yanks fan right now but I think there is a really good chance they end up with both Harvey and Harper when they are FA's.

Would be over half a billion dollars locked up between 2 players but it wouldn't shock me. Just hopefully they won't want the Mets to pay more revenue sharing over it lol.

His personality would fit far better on the yankees. Guy thinks he is untouchable. Don't get me wrong, Ill be pulling for him all year, but I won't hesitate to lay in to him when he deserves it.

That being said, the media poking fun at his blood clots is utterly classless and I can't believe those writers call themselves professionals. What a disgusting group of cretins who write such shit.

I think Matt tends to be overly sensitive. Once I knew I was okay this would be something I'd laugh off. You do that, and people would just move on. His reactions to things tend to extend the life of things, when that doesn't have to be the case. He doesn't seem to have a sense of humor in general. He's still my dude and I love him to pieces.

How about how Terry having d'arnaud batting 8th against righties behind Cabrera? Terrible decision.
