    I feel like Bowles would have pulled him pretty quickly, had he struggled early. But, who knows.

    There is no reason to pay fitz more than 7-8 mil/year. The guy had maybe one or two good seasons in his whole career and is getting up there in age. No way we should mortgage the future and pay him all the money. Worst case Geno starts but jury is still out on him as he's never played with actual talent before.

    Ya I'm sure, considering Fitzpatrick tossed 6 picks in the 2 loses, if anything Rex is most likely praying we come to terms with Fitz

    We all know how this is gonna end!

    Fitz goes to Denver and between him and Sanchez the Bronco's repeat, they get their rings and we ride Geno all season towards the #1 pick before he explodes in the last couple of weeks to leave us picking around 7 th or 8th.

    He beat us by five points both games with Fitz, he'd beat us by fifteen points both games with Geno next year.

    This is a fear. How real a fear? Imo, the Broncos would have signed Fitz already by now if it was going to go in that direction. So not much of a fear.

    Denver may balk at 15-18 million, doesn't mean they won't outbid us at 10-12 mil.

    Perhaps. Too many moving parts here, though. I don't think it is impossible that he goes there. But I do think it unlikely.

    Thank you... one last time Fitz is a good guy but a mediocre QB with stats to prove it. he is not worth more then what the jets offered period...if he was he would have signed elsewhere... the market has spoken (metaphorically speaking).
