http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/batman_v_superman_dawn_of_justice/ Early reviews are definitely not good. Looks like exactly what we expected for the past few years. If you like Snyder and all his crap, you will like it. Otherwise: probably not. I am hoping my super low expectations can make it a decent experience at least.
Reading the reviews its a mixed bag with the ones out so far (29 positive, 44 negative). These things release over 250+ reviews. I have to see how things end up and after I watch it I want to see how I react. If it's like Avengers where I wanted to see the movie ASAP again then I think its a winner, if I feel its like Age of Ultron where I dont need to bother seeing the film ever again then I will be annoyed. In either case, they need to take Snyder away from the helm soon.
Just read a review talking about multiple dream sequences and a depressing ending. Haha, really getting me excited now! I guess I am done looking at the reviews.
This pretty much has played out as I thought it would so far; the majority of critics dump on it, while the majority of movie-goers rave over it. I haven't seen the film, but from what I've heard the most common flaw it seems to have is from a technical standpoint of how the scenes are put together, aka it feels jumbled and doesn't flow very well. Which is clearly a fault of the director. In addition there are some complaints of film being too dark, grim and not witty or snarky enough which is just absurd. Not every film has to be like the other movie studio's superhero films which they clearly are comparing it to w/o actually saying it. I've been hearing Batman, Wonder Woman, Alfred, the epic music score and the action scenes are some of the highlights of the film tho. I'll reserve judgement until I see for myself tomorrow night. I never go by critics reviews for movies I'm interested in seeing, as I usually end up disagreeing with most of them anyways.
FUCK, this was my biggest problem with Man of Steel. The jumbled flow of the scenes being put together, its a mess and felt like a rushed edit.
I think this pretty much confirms that Snyder will continue to be an amazing visual/action director, but not much of a story teller
I think Asian women can be gorgeous, but whenever I've fucked one of them, it felt like someone was stabbing me in the hips with daggers while a catfish tried to chew my dick off. The only exception are Chinese women, because their men don't have mouse cocks.
Just got home from Batman v Superman. LOVED it!! I will say this. If you compare Bale and Affleck, Bale was a much better actor playing Batman, but Affleck actually made Batman look like a superhero. Not only was he HUGE, but he actually made you fear him. There were many times when watching The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises that I found myself thinking "this is just a normal guy in a suit with cool weapons". Ben Affleck actually gave Batman a presence that made you respect him. And Doomsday was so bad ass! Loved everything about this movie
I never realized how big Affleck actually was until he was in this movie. Henry Cavill is like 6' 1" i believe. Honestly anyone who says deadpool is a good movie and this isnt loses credibility. This is far better than the predictable story that was deadpool (still a good movie btw). Gal looked the part of wonder woman. She played the role well. Easy to see what brings the league together. I see they're going new 52 origin. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Yeah, he's a big dude! He's 6'4 I believe Not to mention he gained north of 40 lbs for this role. Perfect fit for Batman IMO
Just got back from the movie... So here is the deal with the negative reviews. The movie was made for the comic book fans, it's not a great movie experience if you are someone that knows barely anything about these characters and plot. I really liked alot of the movie, but my biggest gripes with the movie are the same as it were with Man of Steel. Zack Snyder is not a good storyteller, he just follows the storyboards and really just moves it along. I think it is the lazy editing which bugged me with Man of Steel. He did it here near the end which made me roll my eyes and the random edit. The film is so bombastic in its style that some of the most awesome moments (which there were alot of) were drawn out by the explosive loud musical score, which has nothing on Hans Zimmer's Nolan trilogy or even the original Man of Steel. Overall, I need to see it again, my wife enjoyed it but she had alot of questions and was confused because she isn't into superheroes and the comics. I had to explain alot of the scenes that introduce characters and also the one big dream sequence. I really liked the script! It's just Snyder I think needs to move on into a producing role like ASAP. I give it a B
