I'm not a big follower of the Premier League, but I hope Leicester City pulls this off. What a story.
Not your typical game day. Yesterday ISIS blew a suicide bomber in Taksim Square in Istanbul and they have already made a bomb threat for the stadium. People in Turkey are demoralized and at this point, not much people care about the game. I hope we win though but I truly don't care as we are more than 20 points behind Fenerbahce.
Just came home from my son's Karate test and learned about this. Looks like there was credible threat about another attack and they didn't want to take any chances. Meantime, German consulate in Istanbul is closed and certain International Schools won't open for a while. Last week it was Kurds who attacked and 2 days ago it was ISIS militant.
It definitely seems like they are targeting more and more sporting events which is pretty scary. London just said they expect a string of attacks sometime this week too.
Rooting hard for Leicester to drop points against Southampton and West Ham over the next few weeks (not gonna hold my breath for Sunderland)- if there's any chance of Spurs winning the title they need to start covering ground immediately.
Great article on SI.com about L.C. http://www.si.com/planet-futbol/2016/03/22/leicester-city-lcfc-foxes-premier-league-epl Freakin team was 5,000 to 1 to finish in 1st place.
Yup. He cashed out recently - obviously didn't trust them not to let him down. Think that's a touch over $100,000 he won though. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-35747633
Big game vs southhampton sunday ( but arent they all) chance for 7 point lead after spurs drew with liverpool. A few more wins and it will be mathematically impossible to be caught by The chasers
