Only in this solar system. The Universe is 13.799±0.021 billion years old according to Wikipedia and that would make the Buffalo Bills futility streak more than 13.5 billion years longer than the Jets streak of not winning the Big One. That's assuming the low range. It could be as much as 14.088779 billion years longer. -47 years of course, but still.
Don't forget it has only expanded about 10-15% in that time, so there is quite a ways to go for the BB to win a SB.
To be fair to the Jets organization, after this draft and season, GM Mike Tannenbaum was fired. Unfortunately he was replaced with someone even worse. They seem to be on track right now though.
This crap always gets overblown. Patriots only have 1 player left from the 2012 draft class. Giants have zero. Look at the first 2 rounds of the draft class, most teams missed multiple times. Context is everything. That's what smart people realize.
How is it "overblown?" It's pretty damning when not a single member of your draft class survives 4 years. Yes, it helps to put it in context, but doesn't excuse it or change the facts.
Yeah, it doesn't make a difference if the Pats or Giants don't have either. Shitty drafts from all 3 of us in the case.
Yeah if context is everything than you arent paying attention. The pats drafted chandler jones, hightower, and ebner. 2 of those players are still on the team. One was traded away a few days ago. The details are jones was a pro bowler and hightower is a very nice player. They drafted 7 that year. One probowler one borderline probowler.. And as of three days ago three were still on the team. We got nothing out of that draft. Thats what smart people realize.
"They should make me the GM! I will instruct the front office to draft a future Hall of Fame quarterback. Why hasn't anyone else thought of that? "
It does make a difference. The narrative is completely different if only the jets draft bad, as opposed to a lot of teams drafting bad.
You know the great thing about the draft.... every year you get a chance better your lot. Yes, I know we haven't picked well in the past, but now we have some else at the helm. Give it some time. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Well, this time we don't have the crackerjack talent scouts / brilliant GM combos we've had in the past. Thank God Woody & Mac fired the lot of them.
I wonder what fish fans think hearing that Tanny's 12 draft was so awful. Glad to be rid of him, for sure.
