It's called a clique you knucklehead...

Anyway...would the worst thing be to start Petty?

    Or god forbid...GeNo?

Whoever is under center will have some nice tools to work with.

When does his rookie deal run out?

Maybe he'll ask for 15 mill after he has a decent year.

Hopefully this gets resolved by the time the draft roles aroud, this could go on for months. Both sides are at a standstill,The RG3 visit didn't scare Fitz and his agent

Better QBs tend to get better results from offenses regardless of this so this assertion that the team will react badly to any other QB but Fitz is moot. If what you imply mattered, you'd see the most likable guys like Fitz, Tebow, Barkley, etyc starting and succeeding, QB around the league rather than the most talented and unlikeable guys like Flacco, Cutler, etc.

Ryan Clark said last week most QBs are weird and that guys don't have to be friends with each other. He also said Big Ben is not a great teammate; he just plays great football. This makes me think that QB friendliness and chemistry with players on the team largely doesn't matter. Everyone performs to the best of their ability because when they don't, teams see it and pay less money for said player.

Marshall won't endanger his money, reputation, career etc for Fitz. He'll play hard for any QB same as he always does. Marshall has never done anything else so to assume he'll suddenly change is nonsensical.

I wouldn't worry about it. If Fitz was going to get 18 million from the Jets, he would have already gotten it. Mac comes from a scouting background so he knows the value of a weak-armed game manager type QB and it's not 18 million.

god forbid Geno start. been there and saw that. For all those who thought he has grown and deserves to start....I point the raiders game out to you. not the interception but the bone headed plays he made running out of bounds giving up sacks all this with the game on the line. Those type of mistakes are unforgivable because your head should be in the game. in a spot start you can live with badly thrown ball especially coming in like he did not but those mental mistakes year after year. million dollar arm 10 cent brain
No thanks they will resign fitz I would imagine around 10 million for 3 yrs. If I was fitzs I would be more concern that a team that needs a qb like the Broncos are not offering now where near that amount.

And after each boneheaded play he followed it up with a positive play.

Nice, we have a/another German here. @angryjetsfan here's your chance to prove you're really from Germany and not just trolling us.

Seems silly to try to get a windfall and then talk retirement when it does not happen. But guys do quit football at odd times.

Are there any later round QBs in the draft that might be a Wilson-like surprise (i.e., talented enough to beat Smith/Petty and competent enough to start on Day 1)?

Just ignore Geno007. His mommy didn't teach him how to write a passable English.

I don't think there is a QB in any round that could beat out Petty. The only wild card I see is Wentz.
