nice to have the beard back for the right price.

but other than that roll the dice with what we have, and/or RGIII pickup (He won't last long behind our current Oline though as he runs out of the pocket more than geno and can't take a hit).

Kap is probably going to cost too much in a trade, carries a lot of his own baggage as well (def crazy when I read fans saying trade mo, lol no. )

I voted for Come Back at the Right Price, but I would be willing to go a little higher, i.e. 10 or 11 million, if absolutely necessary (though I wouldn't tell Fitz's agent that).

Fitzpatrick made $3.5 million last year, right? He won 10 games and missed the playoffs while choking Week 17 (as a team, not just him). The Jets have doubled or more than doubled his salary in their offer this year, right? More than fair if you asked me. I don't get why just because other teams are paying QB's ridiculous money, that the Jets have to forced to stupidly do it too. Ridiculous. I expected a deal to be done by last Monday. And now it is this Monday and still nothing.

i chose "come back at the right price(8-10M)"

but i dont agree with giving him 8-10 million. id offer 5-7 and takes my chances with Geno, Hoyer, or RG3 if he says no

People think he will have another year like last year and he won't, not even close with the teams we play this time around...time to move on.

A few of my friends have nicknamed him the bank robber. He shows up, plays well on a one year contract, gets paid way more then he's worth then gets run out of town money bags in tow. I truly hope we squeeze one more year out of him then Petty or someone we draft this year is ready to go.

Probably because there are a lot of NFL QB's out there who had worse records than he did in 2015 and are making more than twice what he's been offered. Can't blame him for asking.

When you say "Put an end to this", are the results of this poll binding on the Jets?

I'm really surprised that 76% of people voted for the only option that isn't hyperbole

    I want to move on

He knows "only at the right price" upside down and sideways by now

He won't budge so we have to

Cya Ryan cause I doubt they sweeten the offer

This poll should be daily, or better yet twice/day.

Agree... I was for signing him and still am but like the show " the price is right" the price needs to be placed into the proper context... he is a mediocre QB who had a good year not even a great year a good year. Last week I talked about a meeting of the mind now I want Mac stick to his position and not over pay him.

BTW didn't he sign a meg deal with he Bills... my thought is he can not be hurting for cash and if he is then he is not as smart as people make him out to be.

Huh? Hopefully, you're being sarcastic. None of the others are hyperbole. In fact, that's the only answer that IS hyperbole. $8-10 is NOT the right price for Fitz.

Fuck him. Latest news is we aren't even close and he doesn't deserve a cent over $10m. Last I heard he wanted $15-16m.

Our salary cap is fucked anyway without him.

The impatience on here is ridiculous. It's been FIVE DAYS since the start of free agency. And Fitz and the Jets are waiting for the Kaep saga to finish before either side will make a move. Chill out people.
