Broncos aren't interested in RG3, it seems like Jets may be the only team that are interested in him?
I want to get excited about RG3 but I can't. Chronically injury prone. Decimated knee and not a dynamic runner anymore. Yet to prove he can be a good pocket QB. Poor leader/locker room presence. Someone sell me on all the "upside"?
I think my biggest issue with him is his locker room persona. I'm not so sure he's a good guy. I'm assuming they'd check out the knee before they signed him so I guess that's less of a concern. And I think Gailey could make him a much more serviceable passer. _
I think it's a sad situation that we have to decide whether we can get a former offensive rookie of the year back on track or hope a career journeyman all of a sudden has back to back above average seasons. But I would take RG3 on a lower deal if possible or Fitzpatrick on a reality deal, nothing above 11mil
He would finally be playing in a system that suits his game. We would be able to get the ceiling of his potential. If it doesn't pan out then it's still a low risk low cost move.
taken Sucks that a Muslim immigrant is correcting your English. Hahahaha. Finally I strike back. Okay RG3. Did he visit anybody else after else?
What kind of deal are we talking about for RGIII? $2 million per, a $1 mill signing bonus, and massive incentives? There doesn't seem to be any market for him and he certainly hasn't outplayed his rookie deal. It's all based upon potential. Could he be more of a Geno replacement than a Fitz replacement? If it's already been discussed in this pile of dung thread, I apologize - I could only bear going back 3 pages.
I think stokes is an honorary moderator, ever see how fast he gets riled up with Truth4u when he post anything about religion outside of the religion thread?
I feel the same, I'm on record with signing RG3, cutting Geno, draft another QB and letting Petty and RG3 battle it out in TC. If that's the case I hope RG3 has actually learned from his fall as a starter, and stays humble. I never thought he was a show off, I thought it was his overconfidence that came off as being too cocky.
A good friend of mine is a diehard Skins fan, and supposedly alot of the lockerroom animosity rumors start from Snyder giving preferential treatment to RG3 compared to other players...... who knows if that's really true or not
A look at what's going on around theNew York Jets : ~ ~ 4. Plan for RG III:I spoke to one personnel director who thinks it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider aRyan Fitzpatrick-Robert Griffin III tandem. The scenario: Sign RG III to a two-year, team-friendly deal. Continue talks with Fitzpatrick. If Fitzpatrick signs, he's the starter, RG III is the No. 2 andGeno Smithis a goner, saving $1 million on the cap.Bryce Petty, who succeeded RG III at Baylor, would be the No. 3. The problem is, if the Jets sign RG III and Fitzpatrick goes elsewhere, you're left with three quarterbacks who combined for only one game played in 2015.The personnel director believes RG III, for all his flaws, would be a solid addition, noting he'd rather have RG III over Smith because RG III has a higher upside.Personally, I'd have reservations.I'd consider him in a no-pressure backup role, but the problem with that is his presence in New York would trigger a Tebow-like circus. Interesting thought, though. rest of above article : > http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york-je...s-rb-matt-forte-has-chuck-foreman-like-traits
I feel like RGIII is the new Michael Vick in terms of health. It's not a question of if, but WHEN he gets hurt.
