It's a good thing that McCags has the patience of Navy Seal sniper and not the patience of a 7 year old who just got $100 in birthday money. I have been hitting refresh on Bleacher Report and TGG every 5 minutes wondering why we haven't signed or traded for a QB. Then I realize that we have a competent front office and they are doing their due diligence. Two days of posturing with RGIII. Brilliant. Signing Forte and rolling the dice on Robinson. Brilliant. Now hurry up and sign Fitz because I am going to explode!
Is that where you got the idea for this post? The 50 other posts saying the exact same thing? Nevermind. The more I respond the more a useless thread stays on top of the forum.
Just STFU and move on. You are too stupid to see the point of the thread. I'm impatient and I am high on Mike Maccaggnan. But thanks for keeping the thread active.
I like how patient the front office has been this year. It's al little painful to sit and watch but when the moves happen they seem to be smart move and for a good price ( I'm very impressed with the Forte deal) Even with Fitz. They seem to be drawing a line and not panicing. I hope it works out
For the life me, I have never understood this complaint and I have been posting on this website for many years. I get it, some threads are terrible and have no need, but the guy was pointing out MM's patience during this process. I don't see the need in pointlessly bashing someone over a new thread that YOU are not interested in reading or responding to. Go elsewhere if you don't want to discuss.
I do like Maccagnan's approach thus far and have been impressed by the moves he's made and hasn't made (Hope I don't jinx it). I really wanted Harrison back, but he wasn't worth near what he got and likewise with Ivory. Instead, he got a guy who is a better fit for this offense in Forte, resigned a guy who really found has stride last year with Powell, and signed a promising under-the-radar guy with injury problems at a nice rate to make for an exciting backfield - all three of these guys for just 2mil more than Ivory alone. So far I've interpreted the FO's patience as intentional and more likely to be part of a plan than, say, Idzik's patience, which felt more like indecisiveness and being cheap
I agree with regarding the good job that Mac is doing and his patience. I am not impatient regarding signing Fitz. If it happens, fine. If it doesn't, that's fine too. If it doesn't, I'm sure that Mac will get RGIII or opt to roll with Petty or Geno or some other QB. I trust his judgment. Ignore cretins that make comments about starting threads, because that's what they are. They're wannabe moderators.
Why not James Jones too? This way we can come up with something corny like the defense can't keep up with the Joneses. or That WR tandem is DYNO-MITE!
