Is there any chance the Jets could sign Fitzpatrick, RGIII and release Geno? That would be a perfect scenario for me.

I'll stop at Atlantic Health on the way home and I'll see what's going on.

Fitz gives the Jets the best chance at success next season, I don't think that's really all that debatable.

Whether he's the best QB or not I won't even get into but for arguments sake I'll say he's hypothetically not. With that being said he has developed a tremendous amount of chemistry with his receivers plus Powell, and he knows Chan's system maybe better than anyone besides the man himself. The continuity is there, the knowledge of the system is there, the respect and trust of his teammates is there. These are all things a new QB would have to develop and may never even obtain, yet Fitz has all these key factors in plenty.

I've got mixed feeling about RGIII under center.

What did they run in Washington when he played well?

    I no like running quarterbacks.

So I guess Chan would know what to do with him...right?

Maybe RGIII is the new stop-gap...

If we get Fitz back, I'm wondering if his contract negotiations may hurt team chemistry. Would hope not, but people are fickle.

I can't help but think at this point that the bridge has been burned at this point regardless of "fit".

I think guys appreciate that it's a business. I think if anything they'd side with him over management.

Nah. It's the business. Both sides doing their due diligence. I doubt either Fitz or Jets FO are as wound up as fans are.

More like a WCO/Pistol Spread hybrid.
