not a bad idea to have a central tracker.... with so many signings, re-signings and releases, i'm open to suggestions on a concise way to approach that.
Humility moment. I was wrong. You are correct. His stay in Dallas was so brief I didnt even notice it.
What is going to have the biggest fantasy impact of the free agency moves so far? I think Latavius Murray with the Raiders for the addition to the O-line and pass rush. I don't know if Matt Forte has any movement from previously. Never too early to look at draft positions. (even though I finished last season with only 1 drafted player on the roster)
Hopkins. Even if Osweiler is average next year, he will be able to hit him more often than the 17 QB's the Texans had throwing him the ball last year did.
I see the Texans drafting a wr in the first. Do you think that'll help or hurt Hopkins? I'd like to say it'll help as much as it'll hurt bc Hopkins will get less looks but I he'll be open more But I think it'll hurt more though bc that dude didn't need to be open last year to catch the ball!
Depends on who you play week to week, sometimes it's worth taking a #2 or #3 WR into the starting lineup depending on what's going to happen with the coverage. I killed it the beginning of last year with Moncreif while TY Hilton produced almost nothing since he was drawing doubles.
If they did it would only help IMO. Even with the addition of Miller , who was the best FA RB to me , Hopkins is still far and away the best offensive piece they have. So he'll get his targets no matter what. Same for teams like the Giants and Falcons who have star number 1 WR's but nothing else on the other side.
Not at all, just making a general statement that the star WR isn't always where the favorable matchups are depending on schedule.
I heard BB was going to use the TB clones from the under armor commercial to fill the holes......like agent smith
I'd be shocked if Hogan doesn't end up in N.E. as their latest annoying wide open underneath/pick play extraordinaire always concussed white guy receiver.
My God. The days of Tannenbaum still come back in an indirect way to remind & haunt us; http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ll-jets-in-connection-with-trevathan-signing/ Posted by Mike Florio on March 9, 2016, 7:53 PM EST On the surface, the decision of the Bears to sign linebacker Danny Trevathan from the Broncos has nothing to do with the Jets. At a deeper level, there’s a connection. And the Bears decided to point that out on Twitter. Declared the Bears on Wednesday evening: “New #Bears LB Danny Trevathan was selected in sixth round of ’12 draft with pick Broncos acquired from Jets for Tim Tebow.” Bears coach John Fox coached the Broncos when Tebow was dumped onto the Jets for the pick that became Trevathan. Now, the Broncos have to at least be considering the possibility of bringing back Tebow, given this week’s decimation of the depth chart. I’m kidding about Tebow. Then again, given that the other choices apparently areColin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III, maybe I’m not.
http://www.bucsnation.com/2016/3/11...signs-with-buccaneers-in-2016-nfl-free-agency Brent Grimes to the Bucs.... He'll be missed in Miami, mostly by Brandon Marshall
Sanchez to Denver is a great move. They can do better at QB, but he is a great safety net if they don't.
Funny that Grimes' trashbag wife had to delete her Twitter so he could get another contract. 8 mil a year for him though? Tampa really dishing out the terrible contracts this offseason.
I have to give it to the Raiders for having the best FA moves this season.. Osemele was a tremendous pickup. Sean Smith i thought was a better player than J Jenkins, and he cost a lot less. not to mention stealing him from a divisional opponent. and Bruce Irvin they even got for a relatively reasonable price. The Raiders just had the offseason the Giants were trying to have! they may just win that division.
