.... How would you finish that sentence? My answer would be Nick Foles. Currently he is being linked to the Cowboys mostly, but also to the Dolphins, and Redskins in trade rumors. His market value is low but he's way better than the other names being thrown out there in trade discussions, and he's way better than the year he had last year. 2013 set NFL all time TD-INT record, 3rd highest passer rating in NFL history, led Eagles to division championship. 2014 had the Eagles at 6-2 before going down for the year with broken collarbone. Got Chip Kelly'd to the Rams in 2016 where he was made the scapegoat for a terrible offense with no legit pass catchers. Under his current contract the cap hit is 8.7 mil this year. 13 mil next year with only 1 mil of dead money.
He's a bit injury prone and inconsistent, but he may be one of the better options if they can't close a deal with Fitz.
Not a bad option IMO. He had no help from that shit pass blocking offensive line and midget receivers. He also seemed to operate well out of the shotgun while turning into an under center quarterback with the Rams. We run a shotgun offense with stud playmakers all over similar to what he had that first year in Philly (and actually better receivers here). Much better option than Geno too....
It's already a tough schedule this year. If Fitz doesn't come back then it doesn't really matter who the jets bring in. The rest of the free agent pool for QB's suck.

First I would try to sign RG3 instead of giving up picks in a trade. But if I would have to finish that sentence I would shoot for the moon and say Mathew Stafford. It's a shocker blockbuster and we would have to give up Mo + 1st but we would be set at QB for a loooong time! I like fantasy land lol

Foles would prob come very cheap. I wanted him here last offseason but soured on him a little. I do think he could have success with our offense though. Theres just no right answer to this question. Every possible available QB comes with huge question marks (including Fitz).
This is better than madden! Could you imagine Calvin and Marshall on the outside with Decker in the slot, Forte in the backfield and Stafford slinging it in Chan Gaileys offence. Damn fantasy world is awesome!!
As for Foles... It's not a bad move but not a great one either. I like McCarron but he would cost a 2nd rounder...

Wouldn't trade for anybody. None of the guys you can trade for (that realistically are available) are better options than Geno. I'd sign RG3 and go into camp with those 3 guys and let them compete. RG3, Geno, Petty. 3 different style of QB's, a scrambler, a pocket passer and a mix of both. Chan has shown over and over again he can get the job done with any QB pretty much. I'm sure he can get something out of one of those 3 guys.
