"Khiry," I got to say..... that's a damn cool name. Why the hell didn't my parents name me something like that.
I would think this means we address OL heavily in the draft. I'm a fan of this signing, but I really wanted to go after Elliott. Franchise RB potential.
same here. to me offensive line was the #1 concern for us going into free agency. ahead of QB or wilkerson. that said, we took care of RB pretty cheap with some decent players. happy about that and glad we didnt break the bank.
Nathan Jahnke @PFF_NateJahnke 6m6 minutes ago Khiry Robinson has 0.24 players miss tackles on him per carry since 2013 including the playoffs; 2nd best behind Marshawn Lynch. Ivory 5th
True but look at this way - for the time being throwing the bare amount of money that we have for servicable, low risk high reward runners is what this team is built to have. Of course, drafting a stud RB and worrying about his pay day later on is fine, but I'm cool with these 3 guys going into camp.
Oh me too. This was some great bargain shopping by Macc. Wanna see that Powell deal... hopefully it's for two years.
ill take a franchise lineman over a franchise HB from the draft. longer career bigger impact bigger need. id be thrilled if we go lineman in round 1 and 2
The 3 RB signings are a little extra special considering they were three out of four of the RB's the pats were interested in.
I wouldn't hate that, but who's gonna play OLB? I'd much rather that one of those two picks is an OLB.
Just a little extra special? I think that's freaking awesome! Take that Pats! Dontcha just know that Belichick is cursing a blue streak about now? LOL
he's another guy like Ivory from a small school that relies on a blatant disregard for his body in order to find a place in this league. He runs like his ass is on fire. also- he played a year of junior college at Blinn College in Texas. That one year he was there they had transfer QB from the University of Florida named Cam Newton. Needless to say that team won the junior college national championship lol
mauldin on one side. im fine going cheap/later in the draft/waiting on the other side. i want to fix line sooner, as i feel like its a tougher/longer transition.
Yes, Mauldin on one side, but the problem is that we need one on the other side too. There's little or no depth there, either. OLB cannot be put off. They take a while to develop as well.
yea, i agree. i dont think it can all get fixed in this offseason/draft and id rather loaded up on oline sooner because like i said above i think OL is a longer transition. but if BPA is clearly OLB im not going to argue that pick. give me spriggs in round 1 and im a happy camper
