When manish made up his bullshit rumor a few weeks ago, didn't they say that the jets had heard the rumor and were intrigued by it?
Why would I, or anyone in Orchard park, daydream that Fitz carried the Jets to the playoffs and earned a nice contract? What does that even mean?

That's understandable. We're all passionate fans. Most of us are knowledgeable and have our strong opinions on players we like/dislike and how our team can best be improved. I have a feeling there's going to be a LOT of unhappy Jets fans initially, because Mac seems to have his own way and timing of doing things. I'm going to choose to trust him however and wait and see how it all turns out. I mean, really, what other choice do we have? We can jump up and down and scream, but that won't change a thing, and in the end his way could get us what we all want anyway.
Lest see how this plays out. Mac is smart... they set a FMV for him and I would not budge from that. Also, you have all the NY media hype about us having to act now or else... I say F them.
