Yeah it was a huge loss and it definitely affected Fitzpatrick's bargaining position. He's getting a 3 year $30M offer with $15M guaranteed out of the Jets if they make the playoffs.
And to think when the season ended, even in the fashion that it did, that as soon as he was technically able to be re-signed, he would be without hiccup. Now it's turned into all of this
no he's not Brad. He probably has more bargaining power but that's different than saying the Jets would be giving him that offer. They'd still be in the deadlock they are now.
