Yeah it was a huge loss and it definitely affected Fitzpatrick's bargaining position. He's getting a 3 year $30M offer with $15M guaranteed out of the Jets if they make the playoffs.
And to think when the season ended, even in the fashion that it did, that as soon as he was technically able to be re-signed, he would be without hiccup. Now it's turned into all of this
no he's not Brad. He probably has more bargaining power but that's different than saying the Jets would be giving him that offer. They'd still be in the deadlock they are now. No GM is stupid enough to let one game dictate how they value a player. They set this price for Fitzpatrick probably in December the fact that he shit all over himself in that game helps a little with negotiations though, I'll admit that
It's called a contract negotiation. If the Jets didn't look elsewhere, how would Fitz' agents take them seriously. And Fitz' side is doing it too: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ow-is-open-to-take-fitzpatrick-from-the-jets/ "Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Fitzpatrick is ripe to be plucked away by another team." Who exactly do you think that "source" is, considering there hasn't even been a hint of a rumor of any team other than the Jets talking to Fitz' camp?
If fucking Mac lets the Broncos get kaepernick, that would led be insane, Mac should just say mo and a third and they will jump on it
That sounds like that could really screw up our screen game, which was so effective last year for the time in I can't remember how long.
Well, I wouldn't go that far. Some are. Tanny for example. Idzik for another. I would agree that Mac and better ones aren't.
Look our offense has decker, Marshall, and now forte if we got kaepernick with that crew we'd have a super bowl within the next two years
Whoa whoa whoa.. who the fuck is suggesting MO and a Third??? Give just a third tops a 2nd... and throw in Geno idc
