Blows that we do not have promising trade partner for Mo. As for last year, basically a good job. I did not want Revis or Cromartie last year. Revis because I never want to pay a corner like that. And Cromartie because he stunk. But I will trust in our front office and pray we have a good draft. I think the Revis re-signing was a tribute paid to the fans. I still do not get the Cromartie thing. But you cannot fault the Marshall signing. He is a beast. And Fitz did a very good job. And the coach made Pryor a much better safety. Forte looks like a good pickup. Wonder what they paid?

Overpaying is a relative term. It matters how the contract is structured, in which years come the largest hits, what the penalties are, etc.

 

You always overpay in free agency. Where it really bites you is when you overpay at a top dollar position and the guy becomes an albatross on your cap for years unless you can find a way to trade him. Apparently Tanny has decided to become that guy with the Suh signing and the trade this year for Philly's bust CB.

Lamar Miller, Rishard Matthews, Olivier Vernon, and Derrick Shelby are all much better players than Mario Williams, Byron Maxwell, and Kiko Alonso. What in the world is this organization doing.
