I don't know how this isn't done yet. If Fitz leaves you end up with a QB who is at best a wash, but is likely much worse. Fitz is also like Marshall's new best friend so he'll end up going off the deep end too.

We probably are. Mac had no idea that Lurie would pay Bradford such a ridiculous amount or that Fitz would play as well as he did last season. The one thing he could have done differently would have been to extend Snacks and Mo last seasons and not have brought in 2 the of the FAs he did. He did try to sign Mo, we know that. In all likelihood, he didn't think that either Mo or Snacks would command as much as they are.
