If that happens, I'll be watching college football next year instead of the Jets, looking to determine who the Jets will take with their top 3 draft pick.
No worse than Sanchez? First of all, that is not even true. He is worse than Sanchez, which is saying something because Sanchez is terrible in his own right. So, if Geno turns out to be similar to Sanchez, or even slightly better... you'd think that is ok?
Did I not make my feelings of dirty sanchez clear? 2016 Geno would be playing on a much better team, under a far better coach and getting a scheme from a much better offensive coordinator than 2014 Geno did. Geno's Qbr from his first 2 years are better than Kordell Stewart's from his first 2 years after Gailey. In Stewart's year with Gailey (Stewart's first in the league) he was a rock star and a record setter. Gailey made Kordell a winner. Gailey made a journeyman QB a winner. Why do you doubt Gailey? Ps. Geno has a better qbr than dirty Sanchez.
until geno realizes that most of a qbs work is done pre-snap, he will continue to be sub-par he showed few signs that he made progress with pressure recognition in the oakland game ... guys telegraph that theyre coming a mile away and he completely disregards it until theyre in his lap
He's more interested in his hot tub than his play book last time I checked. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
If Geno is starting that means we have more cap space for other players. so obviously its no the best case scenario but hardly the worst (overspend for Fitzy and have no cap space to resign other players). Lam
Missfortone seems to follow geno. He can't win when he is suppose to and even worse he can't lose when he suppose to. (so we can get higher draft choice) (2014)
If Sanchez is "dirty sanchez" than Geno can certainly be labeled "shitty geno". Comparing sanchez to geno is like manure. They both stink.
I would be very skeptical of the Jets season if Geno was starting. But it can't be as dire as we are making it. Macc and Bowles are smart enough to know that in NY your job is always on the line. They'd be insane to let Fitz even test the market if he wasn't comfortable with Geno/Petty or has a backup plan.
Seeing Geno out there would make me ill. Think about this a minute , this coaching staff preferred to put Fitzpatrick out there with literally one hand ( after surgery ) rather than have Geno play ! Think about it they let Fitz play a few games with a hand that required surgery then directly after that ( think it was 3 games with his bad hand ) they had him go directly tomthe hospital after the game for surgery on a long rest week rather than see what a then healthy Geno could do !
Sure but a dirty sanchez is actually a thing (google it). A shitty geno means nothing outside the confines of geno smith. Maybe "missing genome" but that's kinda a stretch and not as funny. But I think someone that's missing a genome is usually slow and borderline retarted so it could work. So I wouldn't mind giving missing genome a shot. He's still better than dirty sanchez. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Dirty+Sanchez
Finally a man with common sense. Geno couldn't lead a group of high school kids, and these Geno supporters what him to lead grown men who have seen him get his ass kicked with one punch.
That would be awful. Why would someone even think of something like this happening? You're sick and twisted. Do you think about killing babies for sport too?
I'd feel badly. I also don't think it's likely at all. The roster isn't built to find out what we have. It's built to compete for the next 1 - 2 years. Also, I think the organization has more than enough film to know what they have. What else is there to find out?
I agree with your first two sentences. It's the last one with which I take issue. Paying Fitz $12 - $15 million is insane. They just don't have any choice. He isn't worth that much and they know it, and fortunately, they don't have the money to pay him that, so won't be tempted. I think this could be a blessing in disguise. We overachieved last season. If our record falls back to 6-10 this season, that will put us on a more realistic trajectory, and would enable us to get some players we need in next year's draft.
