At best Fitz has one more year here, if that, at a bargain basement QB price. After that we almost certainly move on from him regardless and nd he misses a chance at his last big payday. Angling to get paid one last time before he has to move teams anyway is prescient from Fitz. He lacks both the mind and arm to be a NFL QB yet somehow has amassed more than 50 mill in cold cash. He's like a better Flynn.
Or he just can't afford to pay a stopgap Sam Bradford money. I'm already mentally preparing myself for Geno 2016...sigh
Ill do whatever i want with you. You're gonna watch Geno start this year and enjoy it. Or not. Who cares what you think anyway? Maybe this year you'll learn some football or at least shut up when grown ups are talking about it.
No no no-- YOU said you weren't responding to me. But you seem to be compelled to do so. Like I said, you're not very good at this. _
I am compelled to expose you as the ignorant fool you are. How long have you been talking about Fitz like he was ever coming back? Go buy a Geno shirt you'll need it. Lol
You know what? I take that back. I like RG, and if Elway wants to go with him, especially if Brock costs too much, I'd like to see that..... Enjoy watching and following it anyway. Prescott on the other hand I'm skeptical about. I'm an MSU fan and have watched a lot of him, so I paid close attention to him at the Combine. Wasn't impressed. But what do I know? If Elway likes him, and can pick up at the right time, what the hell. My initial reaction was to Prescott, and maybe I over reacted. I wouldn't like Prescott as a high pick tho
Guys just think about it like this, we fuck up 2016 and get the first pick, then it's deshaun Watson time
Interesting game of chicken going on here. I wonder who is more confident, fitz in getting a more than mac is offering or mac in the qbs behind fitz? I guess this week will be interesting after all
Its not a bad thing that Fitz tests the waters, and its a great thing that Macc isn't chasing him. I actually think the Jets should give Fitz an 5 year contract, with starter incentives. I think he would be an awesome backup/mentor for Petty and who they bring in next year. I wonder if that was discussed.
These next 7 days will be where Macagnan makes his money as a GM. This is going to be tough. Good luck. So many factors right now.
It's hard to see how Fitzpatrick loses out on this one. Nobody that is out there is a better fit for the Jets in 2016 and Fitzpatrick will either get an offer he wants from a team by Wednesday or he'll take the Jet's offer, maybe sweetened a bit.
Didn't you say Geno was never going to start here again or something to that effect? I'll buy you a Geno shirt if you promise to wear that and a dunce cap.
