I'd like to see Bernie have a good showing tonight just to keep Hillary honest BUT, I'd like to see him make more points other than the anti-Wall Street/Big Bank song he's been singing..
The guy is a broken record and sounds clueless when the debates get into foreign policy. They all sound like a broken record a bit but he has a knack of turning everything into the big bank song you mention. Hillary is bragging about having more votes than Trump now. She's running against one person compared to 48, and she acts like it's some kind of accomplishment. I guess she can put it on her shelf of big accomplishments next to nothing.
That may be. In the general election, unless Trump starts sounding more civilized Hillary will win. Again, this isn't a contest between whose is best qualified because that person ain't running for either party. I may be out on a limb here, but we may be witnessing history. That is, the end of the two party system as we know it. Perhaps a parliamentary system might work for the US now that neither party serves its constituents.
I do not think it is too far on a limb. I believe the Republican party is going to go the way of the Federalists and the Whigs. The damage done by the Tea Party, Trump and all the in fighting will pretty much seal the deal in the very near future.
trumpertantrums biggest weakness is that he must respond. hildabeast won't go third grade insult on him though so who knows how that will go
I want to love Bernie but he speaks a lot like a college activist than a statesman. Crowd is loving him so far though.
He does seem to have the crowd behind him... The good thing is that we don't have to put up with the juvenile cheering, booing and insults. Mostly issues tonite and that's refreshing. I would imagine even you conservatives must like the clarity tonite.
Keeping Hillary honest? You've a better chance of seeing God. Speaking of which, look no further than these gems uttered just minutes ago: "I pray for the will of God to be known." "I pray on a pretty regular basis every day." - Hillary Clinton, March 6, 2016
so now according to bernie white people can't be poor or live in ghettos. that's just a black thing I guess. desperate for the racist black vote I guess
"When you're white, you don't know what it's like to be living in a ghetto, you don't know what it's like to be poor" I cant believe those words came out of his mouth. Hillary going after him about the auto bailouts while they were in Flint was a savvy low blow though
Also -I can't stand that they are against fracking. At least Hillary offered a wishy washy answer. Sanders though- with the unequivocal "NO!" answer. Here's a guy whose top selling point is helping the middle class. You'd think he'd be for something like fracking that has and will continue to do a lot for the middle class. In some areas of the country its a damn economic godsend. Yet he's against it. Where are all these poor black and non-poor white people going to work in his fairytale world?
I had an Uncle who was a geologist and pretty high up in NYS DEC who has since passed. He was sharp as a tack and always seemed very reasonable to me. Anyway, he claimed that there was no evidence of negative environmental impact caused by fracking and that it was all political BS.
All homeless people that I see in Midtown Manhattan on a daily basis are white. According to Bernie, they all must have had all kinds of skin procedures done to them, kinda like Michael Jackson ya know...
