Geno= 20% chance of winning. No chemistry with team. Cant tell time, likes eating hotdogs, watching movies, and running backwards. Fitz=At worst, a 60/40 split in winning vs losing any game. When he's playing well, we win 75% of the time. Good Fitz vs Bad Fitz thats who he is ; but tough as 2 dollar steak, great leadership and personable with teammates. Has all the intangibles to lead team. This week he gets signed.
What advanced metrics are you talking about? Fitz was top 15 in DYAR, DVOA, and QBR and top 25 in passer rating. Geno barely cracked the top 32 in any metric.
Go read anything concerning PFF and Fitzpatrick Also read this http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25504263
PFF is NOT a metric. It's a few guys throwing out random numbers for each play they like or don't like. The CBS guy has the same problem. His arguments are subjective, not objective. All the real metrics I know of rate Fitz as an average starting QB. Can you find me one that doesn't?
The difference between Fitzpatrick and the Genos and Tebows of the world is that Fitzpatrick was decent.
Well, according to Bleacher report and other reports, Fitztragic wants 15 million. Thanks for the year fitzmagic, he will most likely be in a browns uniform next year
Hopefully he's smart enough to take a few million less to stay a Jet than chase the money and end up in Cleveland.
Stokes You know I could care less about Geno right? But if the news is true, we have to make a decision. Fitz at 15 mil vs Geno at 1.6 mil. Tough decision if you ask me.
Thats an interesting one... I see your point. But with Geno at 1.6 mil vs Petty at 0.5 mil. I'd rather Petty.
I agree, it gets tough. Ideally Fitz will take something more like 10 million and Snacks will take 5 million to stay here. If Fitz plays hardball though, I would consider looking at other QBs who might come cheaper.
