    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoke_City_F.C.

He may have to go to one of those bigger sports stores there. I dont think Stoke City is big enough team in Europe to easily get their jerseys but I have no idea as Ive never been to Barcelona.

He won't find a Stoke jersey in Barcelona, they're PL but they aren't very popular and Stoke isn't a huge team. Good luck finding anything other than a Barca jersey in Barcelona. That's all I saw . They sell jerseys really cheap in Manila but I haven't found much in my size. Saw an Atletico Madrid which I really like but not my size :(

I dont think Man City has a chance this year...they are way too inconsistent. Would love to see LC or Tottenham take it, but I think its LCs year. I usually pull for Chelsea, as I grew up rooting for them because of my English father, but they have no shot thia season lol.

Right now I'm just hoping for City to finish in the top 4. We look like sh-t yesterday. Well. At least we won the Capital One Cup. Having had so many injuries and what 3 games in 11 days, that's f-cking insane!

If you can wait until summer, I will get you a Stoke jersey. Your son can't find it in Barcelona.

Where do you live FO17? USA? My knucklehead sons are Chelsea fans as well. In 2013 I traveled from USA to England to watch Champions League game between Chelsea and Galatasaray and my boys became Chelsea fans. I am an idiot. What did I expect?

Guardiola is coming for help my friend. Next year will be your year. Hang in there.

Out of curiosity, how did you become a City fan?

Yea, I live on Long Island now, but Im from Brooklyn. My pops played semi pro ball in England and actually came to the states and tried out with Eagles,Giants, and Memphis Showboats as a place kicker when I was a kid. He was always a Chelsea fan, so I always pulled for them even though Im more neutral nowadays.

In college, about... jeez, well over a decade ago, I became a huge fan. I had always loved the Manchester music scene and was in music school with some Mancs. I had also really taken an interest in football again after the 2002 World Cup. I half expected them to follow the Rags, but they were following this other club I'd never heard of. Slowly as I began to watch City and learn about this club who's fans were more passionate and more clever than that "lot in Salford." City went down to the third division but the fans didn't stop coming. They still packed Maine Road and worshipped Colin Bell and Bert Trautmann....

I have always loved that City is the Anti-United. The team that gets bad press or suffers from a media bias. But the fans cheered louder when the times got hard. This club who aren't part of the reigning aristocracy and get told they don't have a history. If you've ever been picked on, told your crap or just dismissed.... it's easy to love City.

United fans kept up a banner at Old Trafford to remind City fans how long since they'd won a cup. Sayings like "Typical City" and Sh-ity" were popular and things didn't get better. I remember the year we set a record for least goals scored at home! Well now things have changed, but I never....ever was a "plastic Manchester City fan."

Been a Jets fan a lot longer. I wish we had a similar purple patch of success. But well... you know the story!

Foxes 5 points ahead ,arsenal spurs 2all draw, the pressure of staying up last season will make trying to win under a different pressure easier. If they keep winning then the others wont be able to catch them . Any games against rivals will be like 6point games for a win

When NFL is dead, soccer saves my weekends. Too bad Galatasaray is out of title race this year. My second favorite soccer team Real Madrid is also in free fall. Premier League saves the day.

Awesome game this morning between Arsenal and Spurs. I was rooting for Spurs and too bad they couldn't hang on to lead after 2-1. Then came the Leicester City game. I watched the game while reading the Leicester City message board. What these fans are going thru is unreal. True miracle if they become the champions in this day and age. No comparison to a Jets championship. Here, there is salary cap. In England, there is no cap. Big teams like Man United, Man City. Chelsea, Arsenal have the money and their owners are billionaires. Leicester City is just a Cindrella Story.

Go Foxes. This miserable Kurdish bastard from Madison, NJ is rooting for you guys.

My son will be in Madrid next weekend. Any games?

He called me from the beach today in Barcelona. Bastard. He's going to the Carary Islands Monday morning.

This is just like my spring break growing up in Long Island. Except none of that fun travel stuff.

Race is essentially over...only way LC doesn't win is if they choke. They are more then real to do it

He is living the good life Papa Stokes.

Next weekend Real Madrid is away in Canary Islands playing Las Palmas. But Atletico Madrid is home playing Deportivo La Coruna. It should be a good game. Atletico is better than Real this year.

It is only 5 points. Leicester City squad is inexperienced in a championship race. 9 games is eternity. Their biggest goal scorer Vardy is quiet. Mahrez is playing his minds out but who know what future weeks will bring.

Leicester has a murderer row the last 3 weeks of the season.

    Man United - Away
    Everton - Home
    Chelsea - Away

Still too much football to be played if you ask me. If you put a gun in my head, I would say Arsenal will win the league when all is said and done.

So glad I found this thread. Like Brook says-- NFL offseason used to be painful but now I love soccer almost as much-- EPL, Champions League, even MLS.

And I'm a Spurs fan-- been following them for years now. This morning was disappointing-- it was annoying to be trailing at halftime after dominating play, then failing to get the 3 points vs. 10 men. Fuck. But credit to the Gunners they deserved at least the draw.

And the Leicester story is amazing-- if Spurs fall short then I'm fine with LCFC taking it.

I'm a gunner...today should feel like a loss for you guys. That was a bad 2nd goal allowed by Lloris. If you want to win you need to beat this shit arsenal team down 10 since 54th min
