"Chirs Ivory is a guy that has run very hard, and very effectively at times. And it will be interesting to see his value. Bilal Powell is a guy that a lot of teams like, and has been undervalued for awhile. And I think the Jets saw last year, fans at least, he flashed about some of the things he can do. I think some teams recognized that. He might not be so simple to hold onto." -Adam Schefter

I saw some buzz that Forte won't get more than $3-4 million in free agency. That would be a nice bargain bin signing; a proven veteran that can pass protect and be a threat out of the backfield for half of what Ivory would cost. The catch is that he says he wants to play for a contender, and I'm not sure we necessarily qualify as that.

Although I love the way Ivory runs, his best value is exactly where the Saints were using him, as a rotational back. He just can't stay healthy.

We need to draft a back in rounds 1-4 this year.

I don't know. Spotrac has Ivory at 4.1m and Forte at 7.4m.

Bills just cut Boobie Dixon, he was pretty much buried on Buffalo's depth chart, but he might be worth looking as a rotational back as Ivory, Stacy, and Ridley are all gone. We will need someone to fill that bruiser back role.

    interesting....
i know he can play special teams, and maybe he can even be depth at both Halfback and Fullback.

    worth a look for sure.
