Yep...... It's become pretty damn embarrassing that this is the "best" this country has to offer.:(

I think part of the problem is that the really competent, smart people can make a hell of a lot more money elsewhere while dealing with half the stress. Why would they bother. It takes a special kind of power hunger megalomaniac to want the job.

Trump advocated for killing not only terrorists, but their families.

its amazing how big of pussies we've become. Chappelle's genius skits would get a lot of criticism in today's PC world. And it wasn't even that long ago. Clayton Bigsby was my all time favorite Chappelle skit haha.. just ahead of Black President Bush.

I agree it would be so hilarious if he brought out Clayton Bigsby right now to endorse Donald Trump!!

Terrorists vs. Regime changes... big difference

And like killing terrorists' families have never been done before - they just called it collateral damage. A drone missile strike on an intended target's house usually kills everyone in the vicinity.

    Killing families = war crime

I don't know what your point is.

Then Clinton and Obama have done plenty of it but it's collateral damage :)

Oh I agree. Obama has been disappointingly hawkish. Way too many innocent people killed with drone strikes. And that's just one example.

And Hillary is arguably more of a warmonger than many republicans.

It is what it is. They shouldn't hang out with terrorists. So, basically it's just Trump being Trump saying brash things for the headlines but what he "proposed" have been done by the US and other governments for years. But of course liberal media would twist it to fit their agenda, just like with the Muslim database. They have been collecting data on everyone, not just Muslims, for many years...

Wayne Brady followed by the "keeping it real" series. The "wrap it up" box rounds out my top 3

Yeah, but at least with Obama the damage was collateral -- and that's not an excuse. It's extreme recklessness with deadly force which should be punished and condemned.

That said, it's unprecedented to have a candidate explicitly say "we want to kill the families of our enemies." Trump is a dangerous assclown and it's literally unbelievable that he gets away with all of the lies and flip flopping and fascist comments he makes. Only in this stupid country.

Kasich gets points for sounding reasonable, and following Reagan's commandment not to criticize fellow party members. He also, but not unlike several GOP governors, took federal money for Medicaid. But he' a hard money guy and if the US government had followed his policies during the Great Recession we'd be at least as bad off as the EU, probably worse. Then there's that his tax plans are as bad as the rest of them, and add in he's a down the line right to lifer.

In short, maybe the best of a bad lot, but still very bad.

Collateral damage can be an example of carelessness on the part of the attacker. But in the case of terrorists who surround themselves with human shields, the vast majority of the moral responsibility is on them, not their otherwise legitimate attackers. Shifting the moral blame to their attackers is problematic from an ethical pov since it effectively rewards them for their immoral decision to use human shields.

What Trump proposed is much worse - hunting down family members of terrorists and murdering them. That is a war crime.

I have to vote today. Trying to think of a decent write-in name. Someone worth bragging about years from now. I forget, though - is the second four in Br4dw4y5ux silent, or did some activist judge make him change it to this less-Trumpy version?
