no because then they'd be saying stupid BS to get elected like Trump, Cruz, Hillary, etc. Also, the quality of the supreme court would drastically decline

A man holding one of the highest positions in the country just died and was embalmed without any medical examination! He was issued a death certificate via telephone, how ridiculous is that. And the normal judge just happened to be away that day on business, the fill in judge just so happened to be one that was infamous for giving dc's without autopsies. And her name is Cinderella? Wtf? And now he's being cremated despite being a devout Catholic and on record as being against cremation. Shady! The ranch just so happens to be owned by an Obama contributor and known for having no locks on room doors. Now these ranches are also cover ups for bordellos. The research is leading to many questions. I don't want to reveal anything too soon but was an embarrassing set of circumstances surrounding this death covered up? Definitely yes. We're there viable murder motives, definitely yes. Was this an assassination? Possible. The fact that he's 79 is why he's a perfect assassination target, the sheeple will just blink, see how old he is and then move along without questions. We're there prostitute/strippers involved? Most likely.

The point of the Judicial Branch of government is for those who hold political office and have legal authority to be held accountable to the Constitution. Making the Supreme Court another collection of elected officials would defeat the purpose of the institution.

that is interesting NSN but also quite different. Those remarks were made in June of the election year about a hypothetical vacancy by the end of the summer and at the end of the court's working term for that year. What he is talking about didnt happen but don't you think its a little different in terms of timeline?

We had a justice die in February ... vs. one resigning at the end of the summer following their term. 1 would be forcing a vacancy for an entire calendar year. The other is just forcing a vacancy for half that time until they go back to work

every situation is different, obviously. I don't think having a vacancy for a year would be the end of the world. it would really only effect the 4-4 cases, and in those situations the lower court ruling would stick. The case could be retried when the new judge was confirmed.
