That was great seeing Saul play Ken. Ken was really a highlight in Walter's transformation in the beginning If you remember, Ken was in S1 E 3 or 4, or so. He was the guy that had his Beamer torched at the gas station for being such a scumbag after WW had a couple of encounters with him. Touched off with a great soul song by Darondo. It was great, I thought it was one the best episodes of BB
BB easter eggs in the episode switch. The brand of tequila is the same brand that Gus Fring uses on the cartel to finish them off. One of the cops that is at the dirty pharmacists house is one of the cops that arrived at Walter and Skylers house when Skyler wanted Walter out, and of course douchebag Ken. I enjoyed the episode even though I found it rather boring. I was surprised they are extending Jimmy out even longer and not having him transform into Saul sooner. I could be completely wrong but I feel that this will be another season of Jimmy struggling with morals with the last episode of him changing his name to SG.
The girl is Jimmy's anchor to "the right thing". So long as she is around, Jimmy will try to be good. So... The girl will have to die
I have a new favorite personal insult. SquatCobbler. I'm using on the main board instead of moron, douche or a-hole. _
This is some great writing...Its holding up nicely to BB. I wonder if they will cut to scenes with Saul during the Heisenberg era on the show
I have thought that too but the show has progressed much slower than I expected. However, if it lasts a few more seasons, they definitely should. See what Saul is doing in the background during that era. Have some scenes overlap with Breaking Bad. Could be awesome.
I'm enjoying it as well. It's a little different knowing how it's all going to end - the suspense is in how he's going to get there. It makes things like the high powered lawyer's job a little more sad - you know he's going down in flames, you assume he's taking Kim with him..
So are we going back into Breaking Bad with Mike and his daughter in law? His relationship with her was totally from BB, right? Edit: My bad, that was from BCS Season 1. _
Good BB Easter Egg last episode. That was Krazy 8[Domingo] the drug dealer from BB season 1, that Tuco was giving the lie detector treatment to in the diner where Mike set up Tuco. Krazy 8 was the guy Walt strangled down is Jesse's basement. Before Walt killed him he got know him down there before he could get up the gumption to do the deed. It turned out that Walt had purchased Jrs. baby crib from where Krazy 8 had previously worked- Tampico Furniture. It led to Walt really breaking down when he realized that he had to kill him, or be killed. Another great scene from season 1 brought back to life from BB. There was Krazy 8 paying up with Tuco in his Tampico uniform, and leaving in his Tampico Furniture truck...lol
