He should not remind you one bit of Demario Davis.

I think he is overrated, the only positions that I would take Alabama players are WR, and OL spots.

They are men againsts boys in college, but when they are in the NFL , they are not as productive as their college careers.

Let someone else reach for an Alabama player.

Does anyone have the number of times Kiper or Mchsay has been right about our picks?.I don't know enough about Ragland....I first heard about him last week.

Kiper or Mchsay's prediction on who we draft at 20 will change 5 or 6 times by the time we actually get to the draft.......

Any player Kiper projects to the Jets you can just cross that guy off the list

Lets hope we never ever hear someone say in a complimentary way "Hey, that guy reminds me of Demario Davis!"

I think some of you are buying too much into the Alabama thing. If we keep Mo or Harrison we're putting a gigantic front 3/4 in front of him to let him roam. He's a huge ILB at 260+ who has enough speed to get to the edge rushers and still display some coverage ability.

He has no problem taking on blocks at that size. To me, he's one of the better ILB talents in a while and his key reads and instincts are on point with what you want out of a middle linebacker. Think a rangier version of David Harris.

We need to upgrade the linebacker spot at all costs IMO.

You do know that those articles on SB Nation sites are written by fans like yourself and not professional scouts or "experts," right?

Doesn't matter what round you take him in, he's going to be a solid starter no matter where he goes.

    +1000

He's going to be playing behind a line BETTER than Alabama.

He's a football player, not an athlete playing football.

Ragland's a really good player. I think he is a David Harris clone but the Jets need speed. If they go ILB than I say Lee from Ohio State.

And they will still get it wrong....Teams feed them misinformation most of the time for personal gain,They usually get the first 3 -5 picks right but anyone could get those right

Now this guy would be the pass rusher we need. As long as he's not completely insane I'm willing to shake off character concerns for this type of talent. Would be a great pick at 20 along with Elliot, Conklin, Decker, Stanley, Jaylon Smith.

Kiper said "he's a thumper who may have some trouble in coverage, you'd like to see him get his weight down some.." and I lost interest. It's possible he'll be the pick but the guy he's replacing had well publicized issues with pass coverage.

Maybe the Jets will go with Leonard Williams at NT and you'd like to have that thumper back there who can shed a guard and make a tackle.

Mel Kiper is an idiot who doesn't know anymore about football than people on this board.

Raglands really good he's actually more of a David Harris clone if anything. 1st rounder and with our line he'd be doing the same thing he's been doing at Alabama.

Coming from someone who is a Bama die hard it's hard for me to not like him.

If we replace Davis with Reggie it will increase our speed on D tremendously. I'm interested to know what his 40 time will be! I think he will be in the top 3 ILB.

He has great ball skills and reads plays well. I wouldn't be mad if we grabbed him at 20 but I think it would be a little bit of a reach.
