I saw it on Thursday. If you like Deadpool or have a juvenile sense of humor, you will like it. Lucky for me, I'm in both categories. BTW, it's definitely not for the kiddies. They took some liberties with Deadpool's origin story, and the villain is kinda lame, but it's very entertaining.
That was one fantastic movie, had a great time. I actually loved how they told the origin story and his character breaking the 4th wall. This is every comic and Deadpool fan's ultimate movie. Really funny as well...Ryan Reynolds may have a career again with this character.
The same one from the movie trailer? Where he throws the cig light in that guy's mouth? I went nuts when I saw Stan Lee's cameo
I've never understood people going to a movie more than once. Why? Just wait for it to come out if you've already seen it.
Because I thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to watch it again. I'd rather watch it now than wait months to see it again
I thought the movie was just ok, but what surprised me is that my wife enjoyed it. I feel the movie will lose some of the humor on DVD when you aren't watching it on Valentines day (a few jokes about that in the movie). The jokes about Hugh Jackman were funniest parts I thought.
Finally saw Deadpool. I had fun but it is definitely being overrated by people. I give it a C as an overall comic book movie. I give them credit for getting the movie made period though. It is a Hard R rated film. X gonna give it to ya.
Best comic book movie that I've seen since the first Iron Man. It had the guts to stray away from the PG-13 formula and even got some good jabs in at the whole Superhero movie madness. Now I'm sure we'll be back to Batman V 4.1 Vs Superman 3.6 whatever..... but a nice change for once. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Haha no, just being honest. People calling it one of the best comic book movies are definitely stretching it. It's a fun comedy. As a Super Hero movie, not good at all. The villain is vanilla. The origin story takes too long. Generic damsel in distress. However, it is not really fair to compare it to comic book movies because it really is not one and as Deadpool says himself: he is not really a Super Hero. So for what it is, Deadpool is fine. If I had to rank it with other comic book movies, it would not be on the list.
Well, Batman is clearly better than Deadpool. That is not debatable. The Dark Knight is also a clear superior movie to Deadpool. Like I said earlier, comparing them would be dumb though. I don't own Star Wars pajamas. I am wearing a Batman shirt right now though. Complete coincidence.
I enjoyed Deadpool, but it's definitely not the best comic book movie ever. I don't even have it in my top 5
