I attended Catholic school. I always hated Ash Wednesday because I would clean that shit off my face after the service like a human being should and yet I would go to class and be shamed all day by the kids who kept their dirty faces all day like they were better catholics and better people
Fucking HATED the ashes. Having said that, as I do every year, giving up wine for Lent. Martini's start tonite. Good timing on Easter this year, not going to Italy until first week of April and there is no WAY I'm not drinking wine in Tuscany. _
ummmm, The Genesis 1 creation account conflicts with the order of events that are known to science. In Genesis, the earth is created before light and stars, birds and whales before reptiles and insects, and flowering plants before any animals. The order of events known from science is just the opposite. 1:1-2:3 God creates light and separates light from darkness, and day from night, on the first day. Yet he didn't make the light producing objects (the sun and the stars) until the fourth day (1:14-19). And how could there be "the evening and the morning" on the first day if there was no sun to mark them? 1:3-5
Creepy. But I'd hit it. It's the only logical conclusion when you really understand science and are honest with yourself.
But they become ubiquitous this time of year. Supermarkets find a supplier of donuts that far surpass something like Dunkin' Donuts. Try it, you'll like it. And I think they're actually Polish.
You may want to look up the meanings of following words: logical conclusion science understand fact 90% It's clear you don't really understand anything about science and you don't know what a fact is. How can you claim that 90% believe in god when 12% are atheists, agnostics and non religious? Plus the 6% Buddhism (no god in Buddhism, sorry), and also the others like Taoism that are contained in other categories. Hinduism is debatable as well since they believe in multiple gods. LMAO at the blatant lie of 90%, as if it somehow validates your personal beliefs. Even if it were true, it wouldn't prove anything. Appeal to popularity is a logical fallacy! FALSE. In order for something to be considered logical, there must be physical evidence. There is zero evidence that god created the universe. God could not have created himself either, so you are stuck with questions that are impossible to answer in either scenario. http://www.pewforum.org/2009/11/05/scientists-and-belief/ You must just be making this up as you go along. Almost half of scientists do not believe in god, and out of the half that DO, 18% believe in higher power or universal spirit, not a personal god. But on to your "point". Ok, I'm calling you out on this one. What convoluted theories are you specifically talking about? You have studied them carefully? Please break down the theories you refer to and link me to your work in the scientific community that shows your studies on them and explains why they are wrong. I'm sorry, but not eating meat one day of the week is NOT fasting. I get that you really want to promote your version of god and religion, but why the lies? Is it really necessary? This thread just keeps getting funnier and funnier.
You gotta understand, Truth's educational experience was compromised on account of all the pushy Jewish kids that monopolized the teachers' attention at Catholic school. Because we all know that the smart Jews got that way by going to Catholic school. Really. Not making this up.
Good job once again destroying everything he posted. I missed all of what he said because I already read enough of his trash earlier in the thread and refuse to read any more. When he said the pedophile priests were all a made up thing by the press I didn't think it was worth reading any more.
