Here's something interesting. Quinnipiac has the race much closer than a lot of other national polls with 44 Clinton, 42 Sanders, 11% Undecided. Now the numbers aren't what's interesting. What's interesting is how the numbers are being spun by various organizations reporting them. HuffPo reports the poll as an LV (Likely Voters) poll, whereas RCP reports it as an RV (Registered Voters) poll. The LV's are much more likely to be right than the RV's for obvious reasons. So I went to Quinnipiac's site and they report it as a survey of 1,125 registered voters. In other words they didn't have opening questions in the poll to try to determine how likely the person was to actually vote in the primary or on election day. That leads me to believe that the numbers aren't really skewed that far towards Sanders (yet) and that a lot of people on the left wish they were. It also makes me think we'll see an attempt to stampede Hillary at some point and try to get her to panic. By the Democrats.

It's all in the name recognition. Blacks loved Bill and just like other groups, usually vote for the person that is closest to the way they think. Not sure why a Jew from Brooklyn would have such a hard time with Blacks? My wife is backing Hillary Clinton mostly because of her gender but has said many times that if Bernie had a few less years on him, he get her vote. Can't argue with that. I'd also say that of all the GOP candidates, Kasich stands the best chance to win. He's the only one that isn't batshit crazy.

Um...That guy is back home and it didn't cost us anything... Um...Iran got its own money back. Most of it was/is already earmarked is has to be paid out to other countries (China, India, etc). The left over funds was used on a buying spree in Europe. Now, Europe will help develop Iran's oil and natural gas fields. Neocons cost American businesses a huge opportunity for an emerging market with Iran. Many folks in this country just want to waste another couple of trillion dollars with a war with Iran...They have learned nothing during the last Iraq debacle. Have you seen Russia and its economy? It's a clusterfuck disaster over there. He is only in the Middle East to distract the sheep over there (lots of Putin loving sheep in America too).
