What did the refs do? That catch they didn't overturn hit the ground. Missed 1 pass interference maybe that's it. Panthers got dominated all game
For those who say this game sucked you're not appreciating the job the Denver defense did, they harassed and destroyed the Panthers offensive plan. They pummeled and harassed Newton all game. Newton will learn from this, he's the future of the league, but today belongs to the Denver Defense and it's the Denver Defense that sends Peyton riding off in to the sunset on the highest note you can leave the game as a team player, champion.
Come on folks. This Denver defense is one of the great defenses of all time and it has been great all year, not just the past few weeks. It carried this team all year and was huge vs the P*ts and today.
So the game gets a B- if only because I can respect a dominating defensive performance, even if it isn't the most exciting thing to watch sometimes. Congrats Denver for utterly destroying Carolina. Peyton, you've got nothing left. Not many QBs get to ride off into the sunset with a trophy, so take a page from Elway and retire. Gary Kubiak, SB winning coach. This league....

No guarantee he's done. He should be. But he could come back. Namath has already endorsed him as our starting QB for next season...so we'll see.
The Broncos defense is tough, but the Panthers were able to move the ball. They self-destructed with stupid error after stupid error. Cam missed throws, stood like a statue too long in the pocket, stupid penalties (some were legit, but many were not), and early the Panthers' D wasn't covering receivers up to their norm. IMO the Panthers didn't play their normal smart game. With a momentum shift the game could have ended very differently. The refs played too big a part in this game, and if you don't think they blew a lot of calls in Denver's favor, you need glasses.
