New special teams coach just a new shiny toy. Not many future/reserve signings get anyone excited but if anyone does it's Dri Archer. Once he figures it out/ a coach figures out how to use him he could be special.
Wowed at the Combine with a 4.26. Talk about adding much needed speed. If/when he figures it out.... fingers crossed
He is fast but weak as a kitten. Steelers fans hated him because he would fall down whenever a defender even came near him.
According to the article by Dom Cosentino in the Star Ledger, What did they expect? Somebody that light can't take a bunch of pounding. What did those stupid Steelers fans want? Also according to the article: I'll take that anytime. I hope he's a good PR. He should be at that size and speed.
Archer is fast as hell but this is true. The guy is tiny and Steelers fans hated him for avoiding contact and "running scared".
You are apparently such a genius you know what other people know or don't? And your posts in general suck too.
Steeler fans are stupid. If he didn't try to avoid contact and run scared, he'd be stupid. It's not the returners job to look for contact or to hit someone. It's to get the ball downfield as far as he can and score if he can. In order to do that, he has to stay healthy and stay on the field. CuMar used to run out of bounds a lot to avoid big hits. I wonder if Steelers fans would hate him too.
The Jets have hired Jeff Hammerschmidt as their assistant special teams coach. http://jetswire.usatoday.com/2016/0...eff-hammerschmidt-as-special-teams-assistant/
bingo. i dont care if jesus christ is coaching our special teams. wont be an improvement unless we have real players on those units
