That was a shame. Now that they got lucky with KP it's on Fisher and Jackson to add the right player, or players, for next year and to make it work with the personnel they have. They get a pass this year, but next year they better use their personnel correctly. I'm talking KP specifically. Can we get a little low post from him maybe ? Make him work on that in the off-season, and get him in the weight room. I don't like Fisher. We'll see tho.

I would have much rather seen them try to get a stop and call that last timeout with 1-2 seconds left, than to bank on Durant missing free throws. One thing that Fisher has been consistent with is failing to close out tight games down the stretch. They seem to figure out a way to blow it or nearly blow it every time. It's getting old.

I'm worried about Phil being so stubborn to try and make his scheme work. It seems as if he only wants his scheme to work so he can say he is the smartest and no one else can run it like he did. He is so infatuated with this polygon that it can be detrimental to the rest of the roster.

Apparently Phil Jackson wants to try and force a deadline trade now. Why? So they can squeeze into the #8 spot and get bumped in the first round? He already fired Fisher and now says he won't pursue a coach until the off season. What good is making a trade now? Shake up the team chemistry YET AGAIN, overpay for players, and get rid of the depth. The ONLY trades Phil should be making at the deadline should involve 1st round picks for next year. Also why not consider bringing in a coach now? That way the 2nd half of the season isn't a complete waste with no 1st round pick this year. At least they could get the bumps and kinks out before next year, when I believe KP will be ready to take the next step and Grant will be closer. If somebody else snatches up TT and Phil ends up signing another unproven coaching "prospect", I'm going to be upset. I've been at the end of my rope for a while as a knicks fan, but feel like I have to give this Phil Jackson thing a chance. It just seems he's being just as irrational as previous Knicks administrations. The formula hasn't changed. Rush all decisions, trade away the youth, mortgage the future by giving up tons of 1sts, overpay for superstars that under perform.

I'm hearing that the Timberwolves reached out to TT already. I really hope Jackson doesn't let him go elsewhere. I know you love the triangle, Phil, but getting a hard knock coach that is all about defense and discipline is exactly what this team needs. That guy commands respect, unlike Fisher. Don't set the franchise back another few years with some unproven over hyped guy.
There's a story out (don't know if true) that Derek Fisher also dated same women as his Ex-players Tim Hardaway Jr & Cleanthony Early. His shadiness probably helped with him getting the boot.
