He's stomping his feet, taking his ball, and going home. It's a bad look. It will be interesting to see if his numbers take a hit. If he can pull this shit and not get any backlash, I don't see how any Republican can beat him.
he becomes the biggest story of the debate without even participating. He effectively "wins" the debate because people will be talking about his absence the next day as opposed to what anyone said in it
I think it is going to turn out to be a good move by Trump, he will be out raising money for "wounded warriors", if that means the Wounded Warrior Project I don't know. After the debate he can call a news conference and proclaim while the others were attacking him look what he was doing, he then would have the stage by himself to attack each and every other candidate and what they said against him without a moderator there to cut him off. I can see Fox News doing a bit of the attacking, veiled but it will be there. He can point to that to justify his decision not to participate.
Yup...He continues to get his name and message out for FREE in all forms of medium (tv/radio/internet).
fwiw, which I realize may be not much, Rand Paul did it last debate and picked up I think the 4th most twitter followers of all the candidates during the debate.
I'd like to say in the spirit of bipartisanship that I'd pick Megyn Kelly over Rachel Maddow everyday of the week, for sex that is.
So, according to a few reports, Fox News CEO has been trying to contact Trump and convince him to change his mind. Trump apparently said that he would talk only to Murdoch. This story just keeps getting better and better
http://gretawire.foxnewsinsider.com/poll/yes-or-no/ Take it for what it's worth: 86% voted that they wouldn't watch the debate
No big deal - as soon Tehran gets out of line, Bibi starts kicking ass at which point, nuke some popcorn, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
As soon as they go to air, the Trumpster should pull a last-minute Willis Reed, Game 7 vs. the Lakers-type entrance:
So, Cruz just challenged Trump to a one-on-one Saturday night debate. If Trump agrees, Cruz's super-PAC donates $1.5M to veterans.
